In the pure entertainment sense, this year Christmas special was not that good. But TG is still a damn good show from BBC.

Indian is a throng of election preparation fever and TG is a good meaty target to be used as a political mileage. TG was never a political platform for any political movement (except maybe for petrol heads) and TG basically lampooned every races and culture known to them, even Britsh incompetence. Which by the way shows they are not racist, just equal opportunist.

Everyone in the UK has to pay the license fee - it's not a case of not paying it if you can't afford it, it is a legal obligation. Therefore, when people are struggling to pay it here, yet foreign criminals (because no other way to put it - it is a crime) are able to watch it for free. Bare in mind this is a BRITISH programme.

@AdamantJHS Dear people of the UK (which I am of the UK but now live in the USA), you may have to pay a stupid TV license (which I did pay for years too), but remember that license covers many programmes. I'm just wanting to watch one or two from the BBC. Top Gear is a national TV treasure for the UK and for people to watch it in other countries promotes the UK. So you will get paid back with some tourist dollars/pounds. So chill the F out.

There's talk of iPlayer being made available internationally for a fee...and I will be the first in line to subscribe. Nobody wants to watch Top Gear with 20 minutes of commercials, and "the news" segment removed.
