it's not about the way people talk or where they're from though,the word for the letter h has a specific pronunciation,it's spelt Aitch with an a not an h,there is no "h" sound in the word at all.dropping h's from words is something we all do,but to pronounce the word aitch as "haitch" is wrong because that's not how the word itself sounds,there's a difference between the way people talk and accents and how a word is actually pronounced,it's like pronouncing the letter A as "hay"
