God almighty, what is it with those girls screaming so idiotically?
Wait - I got it - they really, seriously, desperately need some lovin'. But heaven help the men (or women) they end up having sex with - when those girls climax, they will scream the roof down and wake the neighbors. So could they please attend to that quietly and stop spoiling the enjoyment of everyone else in the audience?
i could not hear the actual chant that this guy was dancing to...its soooo annnnoooyyyyiiiiinnnnngggggg....omg. its like he's doing motions and lots of screaming......great dancing though....

I realise they meant no disrespect, and were attempting to show appreciation, encouragement, and support. That being said, I wish they had shut up so I could hear the chant better and concentrate on the hula kahiko properly. Great performence in the face of advetsity!

The reason I had to wear spandex underneath was the night of the performance my high school principle was backstage and saw my costume. because it was for the talent portion or our school pageant and it was a school event she informed me that if i did not wear anything underneath i wouldnt be able to perform. i feel really bad about it. never performed again for schools.

@kelii777 It has nothing to do with the haoles undermining traditional Hawaiian culture, it's to do with uptight school principals and school boards - causcasian, African-American and Latino included - being embarassed by bodies and suggestions of sexuality.

The principle showed a terrible amont of ignorance and predjudice. Hence the insults to the dancer, the dance, chant and culture in gereral, the crowd's rudeness reflects it.
