@XxZmasterxX perhaps the ones you have heard do. I don't know about you, but when every song sucks by an artist, I move on. I don't really waste my time listening to things is dislike. There are way too many good things to appreciate.
I always blamed Yoko for the break up. But now i think she only precipitated it.
John by himself was privy to it cuz he first decided to put an end to perform. Besides, he always had a longing for smth new. but for her he would have found smth else.(or smbody)
@katrin2801 THe Smiths was a great band..JL is way ahead of his time and Yoko Ono fascinated otherwise he wouldnt go back to her twice..but you're right he really couldnt live w/out her, he was afraid of being alone
That gave me the heebie jeebies. It was creepy. I'm probably going to have nightmares about her voice now. Seriously, she is the worst singer ever to walk on the face of the earth.
wtf.. was that really yoko ono?? because that is just disturbing. who the hell would listen to this f'n lady do weird ass rants and screams?? its disgusting
esta cancion es una mierda, para eso que no hubiese hecho nada. La mierda se 'flushea' en el toilet, no se saca al publico. Disculpen es que esperaba algo mejor elaborado. Joder!
I have to say that Yoko wasn't TOTALLY responsible for breaking up the band...but she spedup the process. I think they would have stayed together at least a little longer if she never came into the picture. They were definitely going to break up sometime though. They all just started to go their own ways.
@jamesmclaren1985 This is very true. There is no real indication that John was actually into avant garde music. He cut up tapes and created many "out" sounds, but without much consideration for structure. His process was very chance based. Paul's sound collages stand up as truer artistry, though still insignificant.
The Beatles broke up Yoko's band "The Screaming Tojos," in 1968. Two years later she handed her beloved banjo over to her distant cousin Roy Clark on a live "Hee-Haw" Christmas special.
Yoko didn't split the Beatles up. Lennon would have left a lot sooner had she not been around. You can see on Let It Be just how much he enjoyed showing her what he did. It all really ended when Brian died in '67. John & Yoko first met in '66, 4 years before the Beatles officially disbanded.
Now how exactly did she do that? At gunpoint? And as to 'can't sing' - well, that's a subjective opinion. If a person can produce a vocal sound, s/he can sing. You may not like it. I mean, I don't like Celine Dion or Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, because every word that emerges from their mouths seems empty deception to me.
No fair, we never got to hear a John Lennon-Linda McCartney track.

But apparently it DID hit you there, jhaley. Crawl back under your rock and assume your usual position with your head up your ass.

Sounds like Paul must be strangling Yoko while she's "singing", something he no doubt desired to do for a long long time.

@Elliottmarx Which still leaves one question remaining -- what on earth convinced George Harrison to record and release the "Electronic Sounds" LP?!?
