  • Fox News viewers mininformed? Now there's a shocker. You spoonfeed infant-brained, Christian folklore minset simpletons massive amounts of misinformation day in and day out, and what else should we expect, lucitidy? First of all, most of them live in a delusional world of unseen cosmic battles between good and evil. Then this fraud news organization reinforces all their made-up fears and insecurities by offering them endless buckets of shit? What other result could there be?

  • I'm curious what questionaire this survey used & if it was "graded politically" in the sense of marking things false that are actually debated & seen differently by different people.

  • I don't watch FOX but this "study" is crap, not that FOX viewers are idiots, cuz they are, but to say the stimulus created jobs is merely a matter of perspective, as for healthcare reform - be more specific, what "healthcare reform" are we talking about? - Obamacare, you can't tell me with a straight face that it won't increase the deficit. Also, I can show you pay stubs which will show you without a doubt my income taxes have gone up.

  • These two are so stunned they don't even know the difference between intelligence and knowledge!

  • reality has a liberal bias

    -Colbert

  • who made the subtitles? o.O

  • I watch Fox News for the laughs...

Oh, you didn't know? Fox News now has to brand itself as 'News Related Entertainment'.

  • men watch Fox news and are so freakin dumb!

  • I see no mention here of CBS News, which tried to throw the 2000 and the 2004 presidential elections, nor of Newsweek which knowingly published a story which falsely accused our troops at Gitmo of flushing Korans down toilets, nor of the New York Times which up until about 3 years ago used to publish every terrorist attack on the front page. Didn't see any of that.

  • FOX news does put out lots of disinformation, BUT to say MSNBC is not doing the same is ridiculous. MSNBC is the progressive's version of FOX news, same unfair and unbalanced slant on reporting.

  • Comment removed

  • @chrisholley1975

I kind of agree but have to disagree on a few things. MSNBC isn't known for putting out disinfo. Do they offer a progressive slant on things? Sure,. but as far as straight disinfo Fox News takes the cake. They outright lie to their viewers and purposely deceive on a near constant basis. They are always using wrong footage etc. to further their lies. Just in case you were wondering, I messed up my first reply and had to repost.

  • @chrisholley1975 MSNBC does NOT put out misinformation. Yes, MSNBC has a progressive slant to its reporting but to say they put out misinformation with the same frequency as Fox is not even close to representing reality. People have a tendency to think just bc both networks are biaeds in one direction or the other then both must be equally guilty of putting out misinformation and therefore its a wash. I'm telling you its not. Fox is the king of misinformation.

  • my boss thinks fox news is a real news channel, how laughable

  • FOX news viewers are misinformed..they are dumb that is why they watch FOX propaganda and they don't have enough brain cells to figure it out

  • You'd be an idiot not to believe in climate change but Anthropogenic climate change is a bunch of BS!!!!

  • It is mostly because they are stupid that they believe in Fox news.Fox news contradicts it's self and gets caught lying all the time but people still believe in fox ether because they are stupid or because they want to believe in Fox news because they are pretty racist and condescending at certain groups that the viewers just plain don't like.

  • How did planet Earth get changed to "Wary" wtf autocorrect?

  • Look. If you are serially deluded by a network and keep watching in a world as digitally connected as planet Wary has been the last ten years, it's because you choose to be deluded. His protestations that it isn't fox viewers fault- is also delusional.

  • who is misinformed here, have you guys ever heard of the CBO, i'd look them up if i were you

  • FOX news is just telling their redneck, backwards, religious viewers what they want to hear. That Obama is the Anti-Christ,socialist,marxist,muslim Kenyan that whants to take white peoples money and give to the blacks.

  • @torca1950ancola This show must be funded by the far left and by George Soros. Shame on them.

  • In life I have noticed when I am doing something others disagree with they attack, and rarely do they offer FACTS to debate their position. "Climate Change" to most conservatives is a man-made term for alleged man-made conditions. If asked if the Earth is going through a "weather cycle" I think the answers would be closer to what YOU are expecting (the "correct" answer). The way the questions are worded is everything... and I think you know that.

  • they are obsessed with being neutral because that way people make their decisions on rumors. And whoever talks the most shit.....wins

  • WOW their findings are the antithesis of every other credible study. A anti Fox news study conducted by Harvard? Hmm I wonder why they found it that way?.. I like how she reads only a piece of the question and he interrupts and distorts the facts. This is a joke and so is anyone who takes these clowns seriously.

  • @RonBurgundy904 Why would Harvard purposefully put out a study that would discredit them, should it be exposed? Harvard's not a very liberal a college. Their head of economics is a devout Republican, George W. Bush graduated from there, and one of Young Republicans' largest and most successful bases is on campus.

Say what you will about Cenk's analysis, but the Harvard study covered many news sources, and saying that it has an agenda is outright ridiculous.

  • If anyone wants to hear the opinion of someone who actually read the report the Stupid Turks are talking about, see Lee Doren's videos. 'How the World Works'. Currently with almost 3 times as many views as this trash.

  • Normally I'd say that such propaganda and misinformation should not be allowed to continue, but it's always the First Amendment that we have to keep in mind. They legally have a right to say anything but maybe we should have qualifications for exactly what can be considered news and what can be considered opinion and a separation of networks for that.

  • If this were the first study that proved this, I wouldn't care. But this like the umpteenth study that has shown this. And the amount of times they've been caught lying on:

The Paris Business Review- Bill O'Reilly

Swedish study against gay marriage- Bill O'Reilly

Obama saying insurance execs are bad people- Sean Hannity

$2 billion dollars to go to Asia for 10 days- All of Fox

And the list goes on and on. Why is anyone surprised that the audience is misinformed? It's like saying "fire is hot."

  • more Jobs...more government Jobs maybe but not private sector jobs. You guys are unbelievable. You are a nut-job... Fox News is the best thing that has happened in communication for the last 50 years. You guys are still being lead around by NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC. A liberal institution doing a report on Fox. That is a Joke...

  • @timliddledesign You don't want facts you just want validation of your twisted view of the world... this is true of all Fox viewers.

  • @wentafew No in fact I want more information not less. I don't trust anyone who focuses on cutting other down time after time with no facts. I don't like it when any news media does it... Not sure what you mean by "your twist view of the work"? You don't have a clue... What's twisted is you tearing down other people to try to build yourself up. Focus on positive energy. Try to be a giver. We should all TRY.

  • @timliddledesign HAHAHAH... Are you serious??? The comment I replied to you said, "You are a nut-job." Practice what you preach brother. By twisted view I mean, the ideology that most Fox News zealots have: STOP raising taxes, STOP spending, STOP interfering in private industry... which is all a bunch of nonsense. The previous Presidency did the spending. Taxes haven't been raised, and lack of oversight on the mortgage industry of Wall Street is why we are here now. "be a giver" U a socialist?

  • @wentafew Nope. The facts are... The people on this channel do nothing but cut Fox News. They have no solutions. It's always someone else's fault why policies are failing and the economy is tanking still. I guess that is nonsense to one dependent on government assistance or one who wants more of the same but not for one trying to increase profit in a struggling business. I'm tired of sending my income to the politicians who are inept at overseeing anything. They are still in power.

  • @timliddledesign Again... with the Pot Calling the Kettle... Fox News has done nothing but run a slander campaign since Obama took office... They offer no solutions... Obama has at least tried to attempt to improve MAJOR issues like health care only to have conservative republicans fight him over it and provide NO other solutions... Sheeeesh, you're a lemming.... be gone

  • @wentafew "Be Gone" haha. The facts don't lie. 9% unemployment. 1 million private sector jobs lost. 450,000 government jobs is all Obama could create in 2 years. Gas prices are skyrocketing. I know, all Fox New's fault. You wants some solutions? Make Obama our next one term president. Next solution: Harry Reid retiring after he looses his majority is 2012. Your solution: Keep sending Washington your money. They probably are smarter than you and will spend it wiser. Now, I'm done with you.

  • @timliddledesign God Damn you are literally a Fox News talk box... Is it O'Reiley, Beck, or Hannity that have their hand shoved up your ass working you like a puppet???

Everything you describe existing BEFORE Obama. What does peak oil have to do with Obama? Go look into the collapse of the 07-08 financial sector dealing with mortgages, if you want to begin to get a clue why we are where we are now.

The more you talk, the more you validate this video. Please continue to spew stupidity.

  • @wentafew "Talk" haha. Oh, I see, you are another verbally challenged douchebag victim. Where are your facts? What bill did the Senate kill yesterday on domestic energy, smart ass??? Keep on drinking the BS on MSNBC. That kind of lack leadership is why OPEC had us by the balls. Blame others douchbag and just keep sending you money to Washington.

  • @timliddledesign My facts on the financial collapse come from The Big Short by Michael Lewis, as well as, knowing people inside Merrill Lynch. My facts on peak oil come from the fact that the world can no longer produce enough oil to meet demand and from the scientific community of higher education. Who is playing the blame game? Read your last 3 comments. You are a hypocritical fool. Read a book.

  • @timliddledesign You do know the lion's share of jobs lost under Obama were in the first 6 months of his presidency? You also know that we have now had 22 consecutive months of private sector job growth? You do know that the bail out has saved the American auto industry? All this despite a record number (no exaggeration, look it up) of filibusters during his time in office. You guys live in your own world. Obama 2012!

  • I love MSNBC and the Young Turks :D

  • I love to watch CNN because it's more balanced. The truth is though that you need to watch all viewpoints to get the full picture. Fox News SUCKS but I do sense a bias on the reporting here when the woman gets excited when the study announced MSNBC has the most accurate reporting.

  • It's what communications scholars call "Culture of Fear". Fox News junkies refuse to actually do research beyond the biases, because it's not convenient to their ideology.

My in-laws think Obama is a Muslim. They also think they're smarter than me when they have 10th grade educations and I'm a college graduate from an accredited university. Some people will believe what they want to justify their hatred. i.e. racist lynch mobs in the 19th century INSISTED they were doing what was godly. Stupid

  • Wow, people who don't like Fox News are the ones who are misinformed.

  • @daboodeef179

What? What kind of a rebuttal is that? Are there bolts missing in your brain??? That's a childlike neener neener nanner I have no logical though running through my brain.

  • @missmarie273 well, I have actually reviewed the study, and it was incorrect. Fox news people are actually more informed.

  • @daboodeef179

lol oh really. I reviewed it from Dartmouth. It actually stated that mainstream news viewers are less educated on the facts than print; Fox News viewers being the worst.

Can you please cite the source that you reviewed the study? And provide a link? I have full access to all the scholarly databases, so don't be shy.

lol unless you DIDN'T actually read it and you're bluffing.

  • Fox News is mainly right wing, MSNBC is mainly left wing, and CNN is mostly boring!

  • I'm quite aware that this video is informative for all of us. But Libya needs our support: /watch?v=38EXALI60hg

Dear Youtubers, it would be courteous of you just by copy, paste and watch the video.

    Thank you.

  • Even career journalists who work for Fox are now saying it: they just make stuff up. Bad for the Republic, devastating for the American people.

    rawstory.com/rs/2011/02/11/fox-news-employee-stuff-up/

  • would be a very sad america if there was no fox news

  • @52gChris: That was Ron White, not Jeff Foxworthy.

I find it interesting that they hold MSNBC up as being the standard for "informed viewers" when they are every bit as biased as Fox News.

That's the problem with judging news commentary. The facts may be presented, but they're filtered through the bias of the network reporting them.

  • They should post what the congress past! They for years in the kc star posted the voting legistlation by congress. I watched as the republicans de regulated the banking system causing the mess we are in. It could have been the democatic side but facts are facts look it up

  • stupid is stupid. Like jeff foxworthy said you can't fix stupid!

  • "Describing the political position of The Boston Globe in 2001, former editorial page editor Renée Loth told the Boston University alumni magazine:

The Globe has a long and proud tradition of being a progressive institution, especially on social issues. We are pro-choice; we're against the death penalty; we're for gay rights."

They are not a bipartisan source... The cost of the wars WAS in the budget! They can't just get rid of costs. They can hide them, but they are still in the deficit!

  • @aaasssfffdddiii So, let me get this right...The Boston Globe is lying? Now, you can have right or left wing leanings as a news organization and spin the news all you want but most news outlets do not run stories that are patently false! Is the CBO and PolitiFact lying too? The cost was not in the budget! It was in emergency supplementals! Come back to reality we miss you lol!

  • @aaasssfffdddiii ROFLMAO!!! You are the one who is retarded jackass! The CBO or The Congressional Budget Office is not run by Democrats! It is independent and regarded as the neutral source by both Democrats and Republicans when scoring their bills! They view the analysis given by the CBO as their official source in describing the cost of any particular piece of legislation!

Next, you are going to tell me that facts are not creditable either because they have a liberal bias lol!

  • @mef75baby Well, the CBO concocted the obamacare will reduce the deficit lie. That, in my mind, is enough to discredit them entirely...

  • @aaasssfffdddiii so unless a source tells you exactly what you want to hear which is Obama is bad and the Republicans are good, than they have no credibility what so ever!

Well then I guess that settles it lol!

  • @mef75baby You are an idiot. Please get a life...

  • @aaasssfffdddiii umm not exactly...but you are definitely an idiot lol and a completely irrational one at that lol!

  • @mef75baby It takes one to know one..

  • @aaasssfffdddiii You couldn't win the debate based on facts so now you have reduced it to a back and forth of insults lol!

    No thanks...run along now!

  • @mef75baby No, I won a long time ago, you just won't stop blabbing on...

  • @aaasssfffdddiii Republicans run the House of Representatives now! So, when they submit their bills for scoring this year who do think they will submit their bills to? Oooh Oooh, let me guess, let me guess.... The Sean Hannity Agency on Budget Hack Jobs lol!

  • Decided one year ago today on a 5-4 vote, Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission was a landmark ruling that ended restrictions on corporate and union political spending. The decision provided a political advantage to corporations, many of whom -'helped pump nearly $300 million into the 2010 elections'-.

  • what an unbiased opinion! nat.

  • @aaasssfffdddiii what part of the study is unproven?

  • @aaasssfffdddiii The study was conducted By Harvard University that have conservatives and liberals alike that attend, not to mention it is the most prestigious school in the country. I'm just curious what would you consider an unbiased source?

  • @aaasssfffdddiii How did the Bush Tax Cuts help the economy? It was my understanding that they were suppose to be a major job creator and pay for itself, but Bush posted the worst job numbers of any POTUS in history with only 1.95 million jobs created. To put it in perspective Clinton's record was 22.7 million jobs in the same amount of time with higher taxes. Even Bush's dad did 2.6 million in one term before getting the boot. Not to mention it helped to create a deficit and added to the debt!

  • @aaasssfffdddiii sorry to tell you this but Bush did not include his lovely tax cuts , the cost of the wars or Medicare part D in his budgets until the final one fiscal year 2009 which started in October 2008! He handed Obama a 1.2 Trillion dollar deficit and a 10 trillion debt. Automatic emergency spending triggers that would have gone off no matter who was in office contributed to the debt. Obama's spending accounts for $140 billion (4%)of the 3.5 trillion dollar deficit that year.

  • @aaasssfffdddiii Riiiiggghhhtt lol! I get it, Not MSNBC...nope nope, not Media Matters...nada, umm The Daily Kos maybe? NEGATIVE SIR! Lets see...hmmmm I got it I'll reference The fucking Cato Institute (a conservative organization) and destroy your entire argument, and the best you can come up with is to call me stupid lol! Figures...typical conservative these days! "When you have nothing else, divert with insults" ROFLMAO!

  • @mef75baby Well no. I like the CATO institute. But not everything they say is right. Unlike liberals, we conservatives actually question our own experts instead of following like sheep. The fact is that Obama was key in getting the bailout passed, and his sstimulus spending added alot to the 2009 deficit. The worst part is that the 2009 deficit was supposed to be termporary, but Obama's spending willl make it worse for a long time.

  • @aaasssfffdddiii I have grown so accustom to dealing with irrational conservative thinking that I figured you probably wouldn't find a left wing source creditable or even a neutral source for that matter. Most conservatives will just dismiss such sources as Marxist anyway! Now, are you're claiming that the Cato Institute who has absolutely nothing to gain by defending Obama and everything to lose lied? Why would they do that?

  • @mef75baby It did begin in october 2008, Obama took office in January 2009. Obama was president for most of that year. It is at least mostly his defict. Plus, he is the one who has continued that. Don't you get it!! You can't trust liberals with the budget!!!! (don't forget that libtards have had congress since 2006)

  • @aaasssfffdddiii if Obama's programs only amounted to 4% of that year's budget, than how is it mostly his deficit? If we are going to use that kind of logic than we have to assume that John Boehner and the Republican led 112th Congress are mostly to blame for this year's budget which is 3.8 trillion and presents a larger budget deficit than the one in 2009! It doesn't matter if it was set in place by the last Democrat led congress, this congress OWNS IT NOW! It's all their fault lol!

  • @mef75baby If John Boehner passes a 862 Billion Stimulus, multiple extensions on unemployment insurance, an giant expansion of SCHIP, and a takeover of the Auto Industry, then you can blame John Boehner

  • @aaasssfffdddiii Or do you mean if they act like the last Republican led congresses between 2001-2006 and suspend pay-go rules or give the go ahead for a potential $3 trillion Iraq War which facilitated a wild and futile goose chase for imaginary WMD, while killing millions in the process. Or Medicare Part D, which was the single biggest entitlement in over 40 years! Another 1.8 Trillion dollars for the Bush Tax cuts all unpaid for and borrowed from China! Can I start blaming Boehner now?

  • @mef75baby I would say that protecting us from terrorism is pretty darn important. The medicare part D was an expense, but it is very small compared to what Obama has spent. And those tax cuts got us out of a recession and sparked growth in the economy, paying for a large portion of them. Plus the Republicans left Democrats with a deficit of $151 Billion. Democrats took that small deficit and turned it into a deficit of 1.3 Trillion in 2009!!!

  • @aaasssfffdddiii The mild recession was over by the time the first tax cut went into effect and created no jobs! As I said before Bush left a lot out of his budgets to make it appear not so bad up until his last budget in 2009 when he let the cat out the bag.

Google:"Critics Still Wrong on What’s Driving Deficits in Coming Years"

  • @mef75baby

"Created No Jobs"... You forget that 9/11 put a huge dent in our economy (unless you agree with Paul Krugman that 9/11 helped our economy). The 2003 tax cuts immediatley sparked job growth. 8 million jobs were created from 2003-2007.... The idea of Bush leaving things out of the budgets is not true. The cost isn't as publicized, but it is still included in the numbers. You really are dumber than a bag of rocks...

  • @aaasssfffdddiii Well, since you believe Obama was suppose to somehow take a $1.2 Trillion budget deficit and turn it into a surplus while enacting massive across the board spending cuts in the middle of the greatest economic meltdown the world has ever seen, end two wars while creating 8 million jobs (making up for the 8 million jobs lost during the GREAT RECESSION) and doing all this mind you... in a matter of 6 months....than I think its fair to say 9/11 is a lame excuse for incompetence!

  • @aaasssfffdddiii Oh and don't give me that shit! It is well documented that Bush left funding of the wars out of his budget and resorted to submitting and reporting the funding through emergegency suplementals.

Google: On war costs, Bush is master of disguise By: Neil Abercrombie, Boston Globe

Google: Money in budgets, but supplementals aren't going away

By: Lukas Pleva, PolitiFact The Obameter

  • @mef75baby Ok, the Boston Globe is not citable source. The deficits include the costs, THEY HAVE TOO. You are literally so stupid. I didn't say Obama had to run a surplus, I just would wish he wouldnt spend 862 billion on a failed policy. My goodness...

  • @aaasssfffdddiii Since when? The Boston Globe is a very creditable newspaper in existance since 1872! I get it ....any source that disagrees with your position is not creditable lol! You didn't even bother to mention the second source I referenced which is Politifact, a non-partisan fact-checker critical of people on the right and the left! I guess they're not creditable either. Neither is the CBO or the Joint Commitee on Taxation lol! You probably think Andrew Breitbart and FOX News are lol!

  • Comment removed

  • @aaasssfffdddiii I'm interested in your breakdown here. If Fiscal year 2009 did not begin in October 2008, then when did it begin? Which bailout are you referring to, the bank bailout that Secretary Henry Paulson (Bush Administration) was the architect of, with wide bi-partisan support or the Auto Bailout (Obama Administration) that actually turned a profit for the government? You claim the stimulus added so much to the debt. Care to clarify in real numbers? Oh and please cite your reference!

  • @hackit12 Obama = Bush

  • and then count that as savings? Raising taxes to fund a program isn't "savings". No government program ever created a "savings:. The other point. why is assumed that income tax revenue remains constant. it doesn't. so when there is a short fall, another "deficeit" created. Or a tax increase.

  • what is the right information?

Stimulus money was not lent to create business. It coverered losses. So where would the jobs be. Bernacke just said Unemployment would contiunue to be worse for the 5 years. The health care bill does not reduce the deficiet. the logic used is that by "creating revenue" through taxation is reducing a deficeit. two points. So higher tax rates is good for who? The people who take home less money? Its like saying this will cost more, so we will count higer taxes

  • If you watch Fox news....you are a TOOL haha

  • According to Fox News, Jesus favors the rich.

  • researchers at Jahmbo University found that Fox News viewers were less informed and swayed by bright colors and logos.

  • @jude948 Wow youre stupid. The unemployment rate would be higher without the stimulus. Bush created 3 million jobs in 8 years, Obama has already created more then that in 2 years.

Bush caused the Great Recession, now everyone else has to clean up.

Turn off Fox news idiot, wake up.
