@luckasnr1 My grandad was polish (I say was as he's dead now.) He was a rear gunner for a lancaster during WWII and recieved the Virtutii Militari twice. After the war he married an english woman and became a roofer, or a builder if were going to be general. @pacmandem Bit of both, I know i've changed the odd page and got caught once or twice and now my IP address is banned on wiki, and my colleges IP address is banned because students used that to change them. Wiki relys on the general public for information so if you deside to change a page its possible to slip non-truths onto non-protected pages, so you do get people messing about with it here and there.

Poland ceased to exist in 1795 as it was cut up between Prussia, Austria and Russia and only became an independant nation after it was given land after WWI by the Treaty of Versailles. twenty years later and the Germans take it over in two weeks and in the end it was the working class who won it back fighting for Britain.
