  • I think they invented (and re-invented) almost every single style of modern music with just this one single song. An amazing effort and definitely among my all-time favourites.

  • There's a re release on Wurst Edits

  • @JonasOrok: Which is actually a re-edit.

  • @0x51d i see that now .

  • best pop video since New Order's The Perfect Kiss...LOVE IT,

    This tune is BASSTASTIC!

  • recently discovered this one. it's an unbelievable track. it contains everything I like in music: synth-pop, a post-punkish sax, signs of house & techno, shades of ebm and industrial, at the same time a more soulful part with a funky bass, plus female spoken words and claudia brücken! wow!

  • @phos808: Yeah, it's truly fantastic.

  • Interresent pas mal du tout

  • un de de mes favorites de Propaganda.

  • one of my faves

  • forgive my ignorance but... did propaganda record german versions of their songs or were they all in english?

  • @xraycortina: They re-recorded different takes of certain tracks depending on which ASW pressing, but lyrics were sung the same on all. There were no multiple versions based on language. There was no Propaganda counterpart to Kraftwerk's "Pocket Calculator", which was performed in at least three languages.

  • @parachuteclubbed Thanks for the info, buddy. It's a bit disappointing when non-British bands choose to sing in English, but at least they'll sell more records, which is probably the point.

  • @xraycortina I meant non-anglophone, not non-british

  • Frozen faces can always melt

  • この12インチでしか聴けないバージョンです。

    体温が2℃下がるほどに冷たく緊張感のあるアレンジです。

    。゚+.(・∀・)゚+.゚。

  • Huh?

  • You can see & hear this group was ripped off for their sound & ideas ,look ect BIG TIME now that you can look back

  • the best Propaganda Remix !!

  • apoi ingerii au nascut piramide de gheata

la care oamenii se inchina spre seara si dimineata

pentru trezirea stelelor pe aripile lor inghetate !

    Marius Pop

  • Au inghetat crangurile ingerilor adormiti ,

in faclii isi uitasera amintirea si au palit

paralele de gand fosnesc in umbra lor argintie

  • Mmmh, never heard this Version before...

    ...very cool :-)

    Thanks for sharing!

  • What a Graet Song 5* ...gruß Olli-etg

  • hi. i found this video by searching for "synthpop" and saxophone. i just posted a video of a song that i've been trying to ID for seventeen years now. it's actually series of two songs (i think) that's in the general synth-pop genre but with some sax parts. can you help me out? youtube won't let me post the link in here...but look at my videos; it's my latest one.

  • The saxophonist on this tune is none other than foxy Mr. Simon Lloyd of legendary Australian band Icehouse. Watch my Icehouse playlist for more of his work!

(This is a cool mix, btw.)

  • Okay, along side Kraftwurk, Propaganda will go down as one of the leading "Techno" bands out of Germany... way before techno was called "Techno"! I can remember listening to how that funky ass horn sounded blasting out my friends car speakers. Way back then everyone in Detroit was listening to Rap MTV and hear we come playing shit from Germany!

  • true!, but kraftwerk called it techno in 1986, in fact perhaps earlier - i have a demo of music non stop (feat technopop in the lyrics) which may be as early '83. not that i could really care, i have no love of 90s or modern 'techno'

  • This is great
