I thought the same thing, but someone told me FES is better. Only thing I know about for P3P is you can play as a girl. Other than that, I don't think there's any difference. If you don't mind playing as a girl (I do. I don't know why, but I can't stand being a woman in games DX I'm not sexist am I?) then I would get it for another view on the storyline.

I am a girl, and usually prefer to play as guys, but playing as the girl in this is ridiculously fun and I wouldn't want to play it any other way. It's definitely worth playing both sides however, it gives you completely different view on the same story.

@KingdomLiz Yeah, Pharos is still a guy lol! However, Aigis is lesbian for you when you play the girl character xD!! I really recommend it though, the female side is fantastic! After I'm finished, I'll go replay as the male character. (But dating Akihiko and Shinjirou is just too fun to pass up xD) It definitely sucks having to relevel and fuse all those personas and shit twice though LOL.

@emokat456 It's not to bad with either. Sexual themes comes up every now and again, partial nudity, worst I've seen is probably the swimsuits and well... swimsuits what can you do. I have every costume in the game so it's clean =).

Also, the sound track, is f***ing amazing in this game. Boss battles are so hyped up its fabulous.

However In almost all SMT games Persona/demons are LINK just like Any series having same looking monster. Along side with Skill names. If P3P was ur 1st SMT title you mite understand or know what Demons/Persona you have by gathering them. In overall SMT Persona series isnt link to any story. Unlike Devil Summoner n Digital Devil Saga the story is link.

The game itself is a reminder for everyone to live their lives to the fullest, as they can end at any time. The game is in the top 10 because it's one of the most outstandingly written games ever, as well as one of the most emotionally engaging. Persona 3, in all of its forms, 3, 3:FES, and 3 Portable, are outstanding experiences that anyone can fall in love with, and learn about themselves.

i fuckin LOVE Persona!!! i have since i was like, 12 years old!.. and im almost 30 now :D so its been quite a while... ad im playing this version of the game RIGHT NOW! it does loose alot of the story cause it doesn't have the animation and all but its still SO FUN! its worth buying just for collectors, but if your going on a long boring trip this is the game to own! for SURE! :D thank you Atlus for another Masterpiece! ^_^
