plantronics makes amazing headset microphones, but thats a ton of 60 cycle hum in there, try plugging that into a different usb port or moving to a different part of the room
@71Poison the 377 is a very very good headset. just be careful with it, because the top of the headband can crack if you dont handle it carefully, and the mic isn't very loud, but is very high quality, so you need either a really low noise sound card mic input or a usb soundcard mic input. i would buy the 777 then use the usb adapter for the mic only and plug that headset (which is basically a 377) into something like an x-fi. thats a killer combo.
@metal571 yeah man i got it a month after commenting on this video and the speakers in the ears just broke one day, i hadn't played loud music on in but i did use the .377 usb adapter cause i didn't have room to plug in the sound and voice plugs. but one day the sound plug made a some what crack noise when i plugged in the usb (so i wasnt touching the plug) and it just doesnt work, anymore like everything is so quite you are really unable to hear anything
@71Poison thats very strange, i bought my 377 used and it worked for months until one of my friends stretched the headband a little too much and then it cracked. i had a .audio 650 before that, and the mic died from excessive movement. i switched to creative and now use the fatal1ty gaming headset and i've had absolutely no problems with it for something around 2 years now. highly recommended. incredible microphone on the fatal1ty headset btw as well. i have a demo of it on my channel.
