I love Fissler. This is truely a great pressure cooker, I think it's the best on the market. I think the ideal way to cool down the cooker is to wait for the valve to come down. That way you continue to cook without using any energy (heat is turned down) and you don't waste water to cool it. Depending on the food you're cooking there is some smell.
I bought fissler blue point, what must I do with rings? I don't know how to use it.How can I control when I only wanna the first ring? and the second ring?
@rayodesoldeamanecer I guess it's a really late reply and you would have found out by now but in case you didn't, you just have to put the pressure cooker at a really high heat and leave it here until the first white ring pops up. After, you just have to reduce the heat to low/medium (you have to find this out yourself because different cooker have different firepower) so that it wouldn't build up more pressure. You have to turn down the heat after you see two rings or you'll burn your food.
@SUZJOY I use Vitavit comfort now, there is a cleared indication of rings in the new models. Yellow, green and red. When you select 1 or 2 on the lid, the traffic light system indicates when you should turn the heat down. You can also use Vitavit Premium as a normal cooking pot. But I think it all depends on your budget. My mother used her Fissler for 20 years, so no matter how much you spend these pressure cookers are made to last.
What size pressure cooker is the one shown in the video?

Doesn't a vacuum form if it's left to cool on its own?
