Last time i checked, Love is a FRESHMAN, Douglas roberts is a junior. Love has more assists, rebounds, and blocks, the only thing Roberts has more is .5 more points per game and a hell of a better team. Love is UCLA, they would be nothing with out him.

LOVE is OVER-RATED! Good college player, but will never be more than a Danny Ferry in the NBA. Athletes make it in the next level, not slow, big, soft handed guys like Love. Douglas-Roberts dunk over him is what he can expect to see more of.

I am not the betting type, sorry. It is just my opinion. I could be wrong. In fact, if I am wrong, good for him. But I am pretty confident that his slow twitch muscle structure will be owned by much stronger, quicker and faster athletes in the NBA.  I think Larry Bird is the only comparable type of athlete to Love that actually made it. But that was a different game in Bird's time.

they say even though he's listed at 6'10" he's more like 6'9" maybe even 6'8 1/2". if you ever go to pauley pavillion and see him stand next to Nikola Dragovich (he's a bruin forward who is listed at 6'9") he's no taller than him. he's a great player and i'm so happy the Bruins got him, but i think he should stay at least another year. that way he can develop his game and he can team up with Jarue Holliday!

I am an old man, if you measure age by how long a person has played sports. I played in college and semi professional American football in Europe. I have many friends that played in the NFL. Those that make it in pro sports are 9 times out of 10 physically superior. This means they have fast twitch muscle structure. Very quick athletes that can perform at an ultra-high speed. Love is playing against some of these type of talented players. But the NBA is full of them. Love = AVERAGE NBA.
