I'm glad that Will and Elizabeth are gone, they were holding the story back.

Think about it, after the first one all they had was Davy Jones, I mean he's good and all, but then they started to use him to much. Oh, let us not forget that awkward ending of the second one, when they killed Jack, sad, I know he came back, but he story line wasn't the same after that. Thankfully the fourth one managed to more than make up for the other two, I just hope that they don't mess up the fifth one though.

Davy Jones was one of my favourite antagonist in a movie. He's evil and a murderer but the writers gave him much depth and created an amazing character that most movies don't put out. He was complicated and complex, the perfect adversary for Captain Jack.

Much of a film's mood is set through the soundtrack. Good movies are almost always "good" because of a combination between a good plot and a good soundtrack, though sometimes a bad plot and good soundtrack can squeeze its way into the catagories of "good movie", good plot with bad soundtrack never make it very far.
