  • well i am going to do it just because you told me not too.

  • Damn, I love the murdochs, turners and all those other great american institutions like viacom, newscorp, AOL/Time Warner and NBC Universal. We can't get in the way of their revenue streams. Junior is sooo right. Don't look! :P

  • Impeachment petition for Cheney/ go to

    wexlerwantshearings . com

Representatives Robert Wexler (D-FL), Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), all Members of the House Judiciary Committee, Wexler has launched an ambitious online effort to mobilize support for immediate impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick Cheney!

Pass the word as big media won't allow them to put this on the news!

  • don't, there's no money in it for any of jr's rich friends.

  • FUCK BUSH!

  • private ownership is a joke, thats just my opinion.

  • perhaps.. but would you rather have Bush & co. owning the media??? It would be even worse!

  • first we kill bush, then abolish private property ;D

  • i suggest you watch what you post on the internets my friend.

  • fine, we'll just do the later.

  • restricting ownership is un-American! In America we here like to be free; free to choose, free to grow, free to expand, free to own! Stopping people from owning is restricting American freedoms!!! Anyone who supports these restrictions are fascists!

  • stupid

  • This guy is a Mitt Romney supporter, you can get a general idea of idiocy of these people right here. Media consolidation prevents local media ownership which serves the public more and gives more accurate and truthful reporting as well as a broader range of viewpoints. Its also Unconstitutional to monopolize media as ruled by the Supreme Court regarding our 1st Amendment rights. Mitt Romney is just like the Bush admin, they are the Fascists.

  • the restrictions, if implemented are more like communist ones. not fascist.

  • In a Communist state the media is all state owned...so no, its not like that. In a fascist state the media is consolidated in private hands which works with the government. Thats what Fascism is, the merger of state and corporate power.

  • but the merging of state and corporate power is also communism.

it's basically the same thing; communism, fascism, pit the two against each other, and you have the old problem reaction solution scheme.

  • It's who's doing the assimilating that distinguishes them - when the state plays Borg you get communism, when it's the corporations doing it you get fascism. Mussolini called his schtick "corporatism" & said that term & fascism were interchangeable.

  • But both parties are in the hands of a few wealthy families.

fascism and communism are just another divide and conquer strategy.

but you're dead on regarding mussolini and his approximation of fascism.

  • Do you not see the problems that could occur with the all the media owned soley by a small handful of individuals?

  • Like I'd follow Shrub's orders.

  • on my way to sign...

  • Will do! :D

  • sign the petition!
