  • I GREW UP IN THE SOUTH BRONX, I REMEMBER ALL THE JAMS BACK IN THE 70'S. THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE JAMS TO MIX. I ALWAYS BOUGHT TWO OF EVERY ALBUM. THIS ALBUM HAD PRETTY RAINBOW COLORS IN IT.

  • The break beat of this great jam 4:19 "Ladies and gentleman, welcome aboard disco airlines flight 17.....our captain tells us we'll be flying very high, and oxygen masks will not be necessary".Everyone in NYC in the 70's know those words. It is a legendary break beat.Damn, and it's 30 years old...Holla back all you old school NY hip-hoppers!!

  • Hell Yeah! Don't get me startedon the basement parties - once that break started it was like a volcano erupting. Everybody hit the floor or cleared it to watch some B-Boys (though we didn't call them that yet). Those were the days-lol
