  • too good to be true

  • The printing/photocopying system is always in breakdown mode. You cannot log-on with certain computers in certain computer rooms (restricted!), their computer server is limited and the college Email is the crappy version of Microsoft Outlook. Plus, the blackboard online system is user unfriendly. Speaking as someone who previously studied at this University.

  • NUI Galway is a great place to go to University, you get a great degree at the end of your course. The facilities are excellent, there are new buildings being opened almost every year. You should see the new Engineering building opening in September, amazing!! Great uni!!

  • @AmyQuilter86 Wrong. The facilities in NUIG are outdated and old. Somehow, you pretend you aren't aware of this. Maybe it's because you're part of team NUIG... The buildings in NUIG are all detached and each department works does not coordinate. The student services in NUIG are absolutely shit.

  • NUIG is a horrible place to study. They dump you with piles of workload and they give you absolutely no recognition whatsoever. Very badly run University with old facilities with little maintenance. Avoid at all costs.

  • I LOVE Galway! best place in the world to come to University. NUI Galway's campus is always a great atmosphere, and people are friendly and helpful. My time flew and i would love to start all over again!

  • NUIGalway the best university in the world!

  • I'm from Canada and I'm thinking of doing an exchange there. I'm in Communication in 2nd year. Can anyone give me any info or feedback about the school?

    Thanks! :)

  • @chstreehugger I'd recommend it - Galway's a lot of fun too. Possibly the difference between it and the major universities in Dublin, Toronto etc..is that it's easier to familiarize with the surroundings, people, and to get involved in things; the campus is compact and central so it's ideal...the minus point is that Galway is one of the windiest rainiest spots in the solar system...

  • i hope i can reach there...study engineering there :P

  • I study (BComm) @ NUIG, great school in a great city.

  • I'm hoping to get into engineering there, I reckon it's a great place to study. Catchy music too btw :P

  • I really wanna go there, hope I get the points for Arts :S
