It's because of songs like this that I always say say that PAPA WEMBA is one of the greatest African artist and certainly, the biggest Congolese musician. Tell me which Congolese musician has featured in a movie or has had a comic made about his life?

@mafuta3000: Musically, Papa Wemba has achieved a lot and if you deny that, you are simply blind. As for helping the kids, I don't know about that and that's not my concern. That's the Congolese government business and quite frankly, they have failed. Do not blame Papa Wemba for making good World music and being an Icon. He raised Congolese culture to a wider audience back in the 80s & 90s and that's what I'm praising. His humanitarian deeds is none of my business...
@mafuta3000 Just because a celebrity does not go on the 5pm news to broadcast their humanitarianism does not mean that they are not doing anything. Its his right to help who he want to, and if he wants to.
@spicee221 Yeah but congolase musicians have big mouths, so if Papa Wemba was helping the kids in Congo then the all world will be aware of it. he does not need to go on 5pm news to broadcast it. As a star you need to be a role model to your fans and Papa Wemba is not, except for singing some haute couture's name for free of charge, pitiéééééééééééééééééééée
