  • To me the One true Strength clearily visible within the Beatles is a true sense of Creativity

  • The bass is soooo sweet!

  • artickingdom u talk shit its not lennons fault he got shot and im pretty sure george didnt mean to die. wat kinda knobhead r u holding it against people 4 being dead. if i met u id probebly kill u fuckwit

  • epic album :´)

  • Kudos to q12tube. Ringo had a sense of feel & tempo like few others. His restraint and timing was/is impecable. Few others could convey as much style and personality as Ringo (Moon, Bonham) and subtlety (Jim Keltner, Levon Helm, Micheal Giles). Ansley Dunbar, Neal Peart and others are much more proficient by boat loads but they would not have fit The Beatles. The later albums are best just listen to Something and Let it be, Ringo just sings along with the vocals but not with voice only sound.

  • Padfoot333, I love you :D thank you for posting all this music!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ringo hasn´t composed a shit comparing to the other Beatles, but "Octopus´ Garden" is one of my favorite Beatles songs. He got a little help from George, but it´s his song, and it´s very good.

  • I knew a drummer who used to make fun of Ringo. Ended up getting a Ph.D. in econometrics. Idiot.

  • If anyone's really sold short it's George Harrison, atleast Ringo is alive. No disrespect meant here, this is just my personal opinion.

  • At what point of time does The Beatles music go from being 'popular' to being 'classical'? One thing's for sure.... It's TIMELESS !

  • paul was better in Wings

  • @juinper Oh no he wasn´t...

  • @Padfoot333 amazing posts you've done here with the remasters of let it be and abbey road... thanks a lot

  • The beginnings of the ideals of what would later become to be known as progressive rock.

  • @VirtualDynamite actually progressive rock already existed by that time. Pink floyd for example was already recording Atom Heart mother in '69.

  • @VirtualDynamite actually progressive rock already existed by that time. Pink floyd for example was already recording Atom Heart mother in '69. i would say that the beatles' great contribution to progressive rock was '67 sgt. pepper lonely hearts club band.

  • @lucasns010 And even that was influenced by Frank Zappa's Freak out.

  • They did it right this time. This version can only be rivaled by the Mobile Fidelity LP version from the early 80's, and this version is more detailed, and sharper.

  • I grew up in the 80's listening to thrash metal, but I have come to learn that the Beatles are one of the greatest bands ever, they wrote some of the best catchiest songs ever, I am now happy to call myself a loyal fan.

  • one and one and one is three ;]

  • i love how the video looks grainy like its old...

  • very clear sound!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH PADFOOT333 i'm in a band, & BEATLES are my biggest influence when writing songs. I HAVE OVER 100 of their songs on my IPOD but this is the first time I listened to Abbey Road the whole way through. I heard 4 more songs I'VE NEVER HEARD BEFORE. NOBODY TOUCHES THIS BAND

  • @BloodShotNow u must be good then i get sad easliy and the beatles make me happy

  • 171 genius 2 stupids

  • Ringo changed how drummers were viewed, becoming a major contributor to the band. They loved one another or the drugs, fame, ego, success, and money would have destroyed them long before they split.Epstein died leaving them without his influence (He was losing his influence anyway) Lennon did not care and wanted out, McCartney did not like Klein (he was right) and for the first time they voted 3 to one and trumped Paul (always before it was unanimous or no dice) One and One and one is three.

  • Actually 4 teenagers from liverpool went on a wild ride beginning with a dream and hundreds of gigs in germany to pay their dues, some luck with hard work and tons of skill and drive, a guy trying to resurrect parlaphone (George Martin), a running joke in the company, Brian Epstein's vision, and a bunch of screaming girls. With their money, their success, their desire to grow/improve and a production genius (Martin) they were able to do their own thing instead of what "was wanted".

  • I am tired of the tards l quoting lennon " ringo wasn't even the best drummer in the beatles".Lennon is infamous for making statements like that and they can't be taken out of context alone. He fully respected ringo's ability as well as the other bandmates. When a session drummer was playing when ringo walked out for a couple of weeks,Lennon was frustrated with the drummer and told him "just do it like Ringo" Lennon could not tell him how to do it, and the drummer couldn't "do it like ringo"

  • greatest album ever!!!

  • @talypollywaly I think its Lennon & McCartney's weakest album personally

  • @kenfig really? why?

  • @kenfig Because (no pun intended) although the production & sound is first rate, L&M's very best songs by far are on earlier albums ; MSH i dont like at all as its too twee & silly, Oh Darling is very good musically but no classic melody as its basic Fats D, Sun King is something & nothing ; bit like Albatross by Fleet Mac, MMM / PP is a bit of fun but would be considered not much if it was someone else. Best are Because, YNGMYM, SCITTBW and G Slumbers / CTW ; Georges' are the best SONGS on it

  • @kenfig this if that u stupid any of them are good enjoy all of their hard work

  • Respond to this video... it is a good album they worked hard on this it is very enjoyable *i don't know* why anyone would not like *something* like this it a masterpiece like all of their albums.

  • i think ringo gets enough credit, hes a billionaire and one of the beatles i think thats a just reward for his work.

  • @639iris Thats a completely dumb thing to say ; why is it just about money and fame ?

  • Lennon said Ringo was not a "good technical drummer, none of us are good technically. We were not technically trained. But as far as guys getting together and making noise, we are as good as anybody".Ringo was the perfect drummer for the making of the greatest group. His style, personality, ability to adapt to their style of play: the perfect drummer for the Beatles, there would not have been a beatles without any of them, period. They all shared tons of talent, high work ethic, and common decency

  • Ringo was always my fave!

  • Here's what's great about Ringo's drumming. Instantly recognizable!

  • 1 guy has no friends 140 have been to a Beatles concert

  • @CheeseAssassin666 I've been to a few Paul McCartney concerts...does that count?

  • @Chicagokrzy sure y not

  • Both Ringo's drumming and Paul's bass are impressive on Abbey Road.

  • didn't care for anything after the White Album. drugs were frying Lennon's brain and their fame was interfering with the creative process.

  • like a message from john christ lennon

  • They are Greatest Band of all Time

  • john lennon was once asked "is ringo the best drummer in the world?" too which he answered "he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles!" in jest of course!!!!

  • I'm tired of folks saying Ringo isn't a great drummer....You don't have to be F-ing Neil Peart or Mike Portnoy to be a "great" drummer!! Ringo's greatness came from bringing exactly what was needed to the song. He has a certain feeling, soul, and finesse that comes with his touch. The closest I can compare him to is John Densmore of The Doors....Sometimes less can be more....

  • @DuaLeaD bringing just what's needed to a song is called being "not great".

a great drummer enhances a song. and they also need awesome technique, which i reckon ringo had. but he really wasn't great.

  • love this song

  • why isn't paul wearing any shoes???Is because he's dead????? OMG!!!!

  • come on people Come together give PEACE a chance

  • remastered :)

  • watch?v=1mycNuuJalA

  • Such a strong start to an album with Come Together and then Something. Shame Mccartney had to ruin it with Maxwells silver hammer.

  • @Haqster True. George Harrison once stated that "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" was a sick song, Which is true if you notice what the lyrics are saying. Plus, it also doesn't have that sort of rock and roll essance in it.

  • @Haqster

It's even funnier when John and George said some very negative things about the song.

  • Individually each Beatle was amazing in their own right but together...HOLY SHIT

  • and again. thanks.

  • side one of abbey road is predominantly john, side two is predominantly paul.

  • Merci beaucoup de partager avec ns ts.

    Bravo!!!!!!!

    L

  • first off, you should know that youtube has the worst data flow of any major site, therefore you should have been smart enough to realize that adding in a visual filter to an, otherwise, static picture was a bad idea

  • Two of the most awesome basslines back to back. I always thought Paul's best bass work was on his mates' songs.

  • The Beatles are the Most Creative Band of All Time.

  • @mydozer yes...and that..super ignorant man killed john L...he's one of the worst man on earth....together w/hitler, stalin,genghis khan.mao.saddam.kadafe...and all butchers of this planet...unforgiven !!!

  • @mydozer cause their high lol i love the beatles

  • @mydozer

    agreed

  • So what's the difference?

  • @Nikyd98 only the mastering, the music mixes are the same but the sound quality is more modern.......if you played this and compared it to the original youd hear the difference straight away

  • Something is such a beautiful song !

  • Thank you so much, Padfoot333.

Obviously, the Time Magazine powers-that-be weren't aware of your compilation. Otherwise, you'd be their Person-of-the-Year choice.

  • I've been listening to these remasters for hours and can't stop! No job - taking care of very sick mum. Must get remastered! When I was a kid, was in a sad place - parents fighting and grandad died. Listening to Beatles brought joy into my life. During my divorce, they healed me again - was able to start painting. Beatles are magical and heavenly. Bless them forever.

  • so, will someone please tell me which is better in sound quality and box set quality: STEREO Remaster or MONO Remaster? I'm planning to buy these babies as a gift for Christmas, so someone get back to me quick, please.

  • Hey im having the same problem...the old songs are good in mono and the 66-70 are better in stereo im thinking of stereo though

  • Mono

  • i have let it be vinyl works great a little wear and tear

  • My ultimate all time favourite album....EVERYTHING in this is sheer perfection !

  • Just listen to the whole thing and to all of them. IMHP it's the best album they ever did alas it was their last. The next best was Rubber Soul...but then again, did they ever have a bad song? I think not....they re-defined contemporary music....masters of the 20th century...and they will on forever as masters of composition, new frontiers of music accompanied by the best musicians that ever inhabited the earth..they will go down in history alongside the classics of previous centuries..THE BEST

  • Revolution 9 is pretty bad, or I least I think so. :D

  • Wow, listen to Ringo's cymbal in Something. Great

  • This is fantastic, when the first guitar notes came in on Come Together I was sold on these remasters.

  • great job those remasters but i still have an original vynil copy of ABBEY ROAD made in england, in mint condition, which sounds great !

  • sounds really good adds new life to the orginals

  • i dont se why everyone lovess the beatle.......JUST KIDDING I LOVE THEM

  • Now a whole new Generation can hear just what a Brilliant & totally Original Bass Player Paul McCartney was/is. His work with wings & solo i can take or leave, but his Beatles Work is "The Shit" Funk & Rock all mixed together. Abbey Road was recorded basically after they had Broken uup!!! These Remasters are Fuckin' Gold. The Mono recordings for all before "Yellow Submarine" Album. The Early Stereo is Crap.

  • true... although they didn't realize it at the time this turned out to be their last concerted effort - arguably one of their best - and a lot of it is due to Paul, who out of all of them, was the most determined to make it as big as Sgt Peppers. Maybe he could read the writing on the wall and wanted them to go out in top form?? - - only Paul really knows!!

  • No they spoke to George Martin & said they wanted to do a final recording, & did George want to produce it. Martin agreed as long as they recorded it in the same way as the Early Records, as in A Band. This they did & from it we have this Masterpiece. Now all Beautifully Balanced & clean-Fantastic. Thankyou to all involved with these Remasters. You Have made Millions of people Smile.

  • ....and a little poorer. heh heh heh

  • HaHa Yeah, but i can cover that with the audio improvement, the new MONO mixes of the older catalouge are just superb.

  • Capitalization Fail?

  • I hope everyone can also see what a good drummer Ringo is. He has been so sold short in that band. He's a very good drummer. He's not my fave Beatle, but I just feel really bad that he's been so shorthanded.

  • Ringo is a left hander, who plays a right handed drum kit. This gives him a unique feel.

Ringo is a great Drummer, his work sounds easy until you try to play it. That's why he was a Beatle.

Ringo's interviews on the Anthology Documentary are just the Best....

  • I'm ambidextrous, myself. I totally understand living in a world geared towards right-handed people. I think I maybe deal with it better than full-on left-handers. Ringo is just great. He never got the praise he deserved...and really, George also did not.

  • Ringo got to play drums with the Beatles, we didn't! He did alright. I am a very Left Handed person. So i always listened close to Paul's Bass work.

  • @michellestmarie George and especially Ringo were the underrated Beatles. To quote Gary Wright in a recent interview: "I think in the early days up until 'Abbey Road,' everyone would focus on Lennon and McCartney. (But) they were (all) great singers (and) you had four incredible musicians."

  • "sold short" is that supposed to be a fling at ringo's size?

  • heeheee NOOOO

  • I entirely agree your comment

Just check out Ringo's drumming in Come Together...♪

A pity Ringo didn't show so much interest on his drumming after Abbey Rd.

He is among my preferred drumers btw

    Good ear my friend

    Peace

  • woohoo! He gets so little respect.

  • @michellestmarie i agree with you completely on this, hes such a good drummer and clearly underated.

  • @michellestmarie that's the reason why the people who love Ringo love him cause he is kind of underrated and he was sold short of the band in the way. The last part of Abbey Road is where he truly shines though imo. BTW is it true that the last 3 Beatles albums are only available in stereo and not mono?

  • @Nobodie92 I don't know for sure, but I think that may be true.

  • @michellestmarie

I agree that Ringo was shorthanded, but he isn't a great drummer. He's definately not bad, but nothing special.

  • @michellestmarie But he is the most documented Beatles.

  • @michellestmarie Ringos not the best drummer in the world. He wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles!

  • @michellestmarie bad choice of words XD ringos really short lols c:

  • @michellestmarie i agree babe ringo was a very underated drummer hes brilliant on this album and amazing on tomorrow never knows(revolver). when asked if ringo was the best drummer in the world john famously said hes not even the best drummer in the beatles but that was just john fucking around. good liverpool humour i should know im from liverpool myself

  • @michellestmarie The point with Ringo is that he didn't write a shit comparing to the other Beatles, that's why he's so pissed, but he was a great drummer who fit very well with the other Beatles, he was smart, funny and original. Even there is here in youtube a video of Ringo in family guy and they make a joke about it, it's very funny.

  • @michellestmarie Almost anyone can learn to be a good drummer. Not just anyone can WRITE incredible music.

  • Wow you can hear drums in "something". Mind Blown.

  • Keep this one! Mark it 'Fab'!

  • i bought the white album 2 weeks ago i was going to get this but they were all out. SOOOO GOOD

  • i just bought this album and "please please me" yesterday. the remastered versions of the albums are amazing. i love the beatles <3

  • Hell yeah! These guys know how to play good music. Nigga, dat mutha-fuckin' bass is killer, fool! -Come Together, oh yeah!

  • Wow, the remastered bass sound is killing my speakers!

  • oh my god-i guess i really am gonna have to just suck it up and buy the box set. i was so skeptical that my beatles experience could get any better, but then i listened to the remastered sgt. pepper last night with my boyfriend-yeah, we're gonna be buying this!

  • fantastic =)

Padfoot man, you gotta kill the grainy effect. it's driving me crazy

  • Listen, don't watch ;)

  • This sounds more fuller and MORE DETAILED than the original masters on cd- which i have. You can hear fret noises and all sorts ( someone goign yeah! after 2 mins, etc), and it sounds more "live"..superb!

  • my ears are having an orgasm right now

  • I want to see that:}} mmmmm.... they are shining, purple and big?

  • OMG! Paul's opening bass groove on "Come Together" has never sounded so full...so surreal. These remasters.....are perfection. The Beatles will last forever. Forty years on their music has stood the test of time.

  • the 2009 stereo remastered version of the beatles abbey road album sounds great!

  • one of the coolest songs ever !!!!

  • The Beatles stero wsa something necessary, i remmeber wondering if it would come one day

  • something is at 4:19 if you just want to listen to that! Beatles rock i have 7 of their albums and plan to buy the other 6 in remastered edition

  • The Beatles rock so hard.

  • You rock padfoot!! Thanks so much for sharing these. It doesn't get any better than this. :)

  • OMG I CANT BELIEVE U HAVE THIS BEFORE ITS OUT u uploaded it on the 4th WOW THANKS!

  • I was just in the UK about a month ago and I know what you are saying. I spoke to several people and also saw on Sky news that because the UK has better benefits than other EU countries, everyone is moving to the UK. Every hotel I stayed at has hired Croatian women. Ireland has been hit hard too. I was there seven years ago and the change was scary. That is the problem when the government runs everything...when they run out of money everyone and everything suffers.

  • i know! me neither

  • i didn't really like the beatles untill now

  • The Federal Reserve and fractional reserve banking are the real problems. Because the money supply expands due to money creation out of thin air, the value of the dollar declines and this makes everyone in bad shape. The lower class and middle class get hit the hardest. It's all about power. Republicans and Democrats will both protect the interests of the banking elite and corporations.

The Beatles are still the best band alive and I want these remasters.

  • y we talkin bout econamy and stuff lets jus enjoy da best band eva

  • 最高ッスね!

  • Yeah I hear you. It's about $260.00 in American cash. If it wasn't for Bush " Dubya" F'ing up our economy for the last eight years, I could treat myself to it! LOL!

  • Wow, really? The economy didn't really start going down the toilet until the Democrats took control of Congress. Bush didn't help because he is not a fiscal conservative and spent way too much BUT Obama then came in and spent 4 times what Bush spent in 8 years in a matter of 2 months. The "BAILOUTS" haven't done a thing. In fact unemployment has risen 3 points after they were initiated. I think what Obama meant by "CHANGE" is the change from our pockets!

  • well republicans are stupid

  • ...And you just showed your intelligence with that statement. How's all this "Change" working out for you? Obama wants to make it illegal for people not to have some form of health care. Look out communist nations...there is a new kid on the block. But let's "Get Back" to talking about The Beatles shall we?

  • wow once i find a damn job in this shithole of a country again i am buying this boxed set my first check for sure!! this sounds soo damn good!!!

  • wow this is great. i need the remasters now

  • you can definitely hear the difference in this one. can't deny the bass in these remasters. love it!

  • You can hear little things better on these songs better.

  • Wow! "Something" always kind of bored me before (I know, throw tomatoes at me), but there are so many nuances now, it blows me away. You can hear Paul's bass line so CLEARLY now, every frickin' NOTE. Martin's orchestra no longer drowns everything out like it used to. A big thumbs out! Also, Harrison's vocals are much more powerful here.

  • I can see myself being $300 poorer but, in the immortal words of Maxwell Smart, "And loving IT !

  • Listen to those strings! God DAMN! This is awesome! 'specially for those of us too broke to afford the box set.

  • these remasters are all so amazing. wow.

  • Amazing. That's all I can say.

  • Paul's bass in the '87 masters was really weak. In this version, it really comes to life. I love that.

  • These remasters are just amazing.

  • Stores have already received their copies so employees and friends already have access to them.

  • I figured that. I am enjoying the leaks for now.

  • Comment removed

  • Good question......listen to the bass......sounds just great....can't wait for the real thing!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Yup sounds amazing, and you might be right about the sound not being as good on the CD but in the future; as Ringo said: "Tomorrow Never Knows" :)

  • Well I have noticed that things have been brought up in the mix drums, symbols, vocals, and the bass. Everything else does sound very sharp as well.If anything the sound will be enhanced in 10-20 years again. Maybe the albums will be released on DVD-A or Super Audio CD.

  • should had just done the same thing neil young did for his box set and remaster them for blue ray, just end all the debate right there for quality

  • Your saying that his record company put music on a Blu-Ray? The actual albums or live concerts?

  • upload more please upload more.

  • Keep em coming :D
