The effects were later added from plug ins using Adobe Audition. Some reverb and expander.

The amp was recorded dry except a little distorted.

HA HA! Perfect and that just the thing ...! You know the difference between we guys who do covers and the original artist is that the stars have to repeat the same tunes night after night after night! That's enough to drive the average musician insane!

So the star tends to take chances with the tune just to break the monotony and screw up a few times where as we who cover them try to play it perfectly. LOL!

Santana:

A great master of the guitar. He doestn't play guitar but makes music with the guitar! That's the diffrent between soloing and this. I don't say Santana can't solo! But he really makes music! And you do great covers of it. A little bit fatter with the Les Paul. And really your own sound. You don't imitate. That's the diffrent between a cover and a copy. This is a great Cover! I look this vid many times. If it was a copy i would watch the original Santana version.
