Final Fantasy stops being Final Fantasy when the story leads you in a straight line with little chance of exploration. When you're unable to use vehicles on a field map. When field maps don't exist. When you can't switch characters. When Squaresoft fuses with Enix. When Nobue Uematsu is no longer the composer. When they turn it into a MMO. When their are more sequels then original ideas. When you stop feeling for the characters.SQ-EN should go bankrupt again and return to the Lifestream I loved

@lisazanala Yes I know who she is, I didn't want to tell to the many people who haven't still played FFV , the true identity, as you did, because one of the funniest scene in the game was just that, and I didn't want to ruin the surprise.

So can I buy these games FF 1-6 for my PS3? (it's backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games) I wanna play the older FF games but I don't wanna buy a nintendo DS...
If you want to play all FFs from 1 to 6, then you need to buy a DS. Beside, the GBA versions of all of these are the best versions... exept maybe FFVI. Also, FFIII is DS Exclusive, and you get to play FFI and II as one game (as opposed to pay 30$ for each for the PSP)
Then again, instead of wasting $50-120+ on Final Fantasy 7 nowadays, you can pay $10 to DL to your psp, provided you have a memory stick large enough to handle it.
Sorry, haven't played that many FF games, but do you know what character that guy was with the knight's armor, the one that cut through that dragon's fireball?

Okay, the guy in the purple and crystal necklace is from FF1 (PSX). There is a cut scene after you beat it showing this man. I agree, didnt see anything from FF4 however. Overall, a very good video. 4 out of 5 in my book. Love the Piano theme as well! Now, I was for SE to come out with a half way decent FF since 7. (Yes, I dislike/hate all FFs after that including 12)
Im hoping SE decides to remake all the final fantasies the way they are remaking IV for the DS. Its a nice change of pace for the series. However id like to see a new final fantasy series developed as the originals were like with ATB and such for the DS and PSP. That would be a winner in my book.

that guy in the purple armor is infact garland. My brother has the movie that that was taken from and he infact told me is was garland. Yeah the guy with the bandana is locke, but i don;t see any scenes from 4.. Only from 1 2 and 6. But i think i could be mistaken! and to the person below. Cecil never had a blue bandana i don;t believe. He always had a gold like crown thing when paladin, and always with face covered when dark night!!
Garland wasn't in any of the cutscenes, Warrior of Light's armor is blue(just seemed purple because of the lighting), and yes, the bandanna guy was Locke.
I'm pretty sure the high quality (the really colorful ones) fmv's are from I and II. The fmv's for the IV psx release looked worse than VII's. The only people shown from V are Galuf and Faris. Kefka's light of judgement looks awesome...

Does anyone have any idea on who the guy fighting the big armoured dudes was? I was kinda guessing Butz/Bartz because he saved Faris (purple haired chick) but then again I coule be wrong.
