  • why would u wanne do this? :p

  • @SongOfTheLastCamel

plenty of reasons. separate and send individual audio to other people for remixes. utilize the audio envlps/functions capabilities.

  • I bought Live 8 and I can't find a way to Export a Scene... I have say 8 scenes, I want to export them each to a WAV file... any help would be useful please.thank you!!

  • @miltonfrank

You can't export scenes directly. You can export a single clip as a loop however.

To export all the clip's audio or MIDI in a Scene just Globally Record your Scene for the length of bars you need into the Arrangment View. Then you can export the linear Arrangment of your Scenes. That's how you do it.

  • great tip, thanks !

  • You have no idea how long i have been trying to figure this one out :P thanksjust a quick question um is the only way of exporting strieght to audio without rendering compiling? caus i hate trailing through directories to get those wavs for my samplers

  • not quite sure what you are asking. could you explain a bit more? thx.

  • sorry that's what a little to much wine will do :) ok basically what i wanted to know, is there a way to export audio from clips to wav. Basically i want to be able to put my consolodated clips into the right folder whilst im making them rather than have to wade through the directory afterwards and sort them out. I was wondering if there was a "save as" type function for rendering clips

  • 1. you can always export-render and individual audio clips. just choose the folder when prompted and select render audio as a separate track. this works in live 6.

    2. in the browser to the left click and hold your control button and bring up the contextual menu. here you see a selection that says Create new Folder.

Select this and name the new folder and your done. then just drag your newly selected clip into that folder to be called up later in a session.

  • thank for the try but thats no help, they are then exported as a file that isnt compatible with kontakt yeah i was trying to see if there was a quicker way than "2." But thank you very much for taking the time.

Please make more vids this ones great.

    Peace

    Brian
