I've seen them with my own eyes maybe two or three years ago in Kansas City. It was really heart-beating to me. I even got to see a 400 year old King James Bible. I was very excited to see God's name on the scrolls.

Actually Muslims do observe the same deity as Jews and Christians (God the Father), all you have to do is read the Koran.
You sight the use of the name Allah with an ancient culture of moon worshipers but in fact the "name" is actually a word meaning "the deity or God" in English. Arab Christians often refer to Jehovah or Yahweh as Allah because in their language it means God (the one true).
God, Allah, Jehovah= the same meaning in different languages.
i would say that the god of the muslims is of such different character that i cannot reconcile the idea that he is the same god that i worship. my BIBLE declares HE is love. i cannot think of the god of the muslims as being a god of love. i've seen the pictures of their very small kids spewing death and hatred to people they do not even know.
Actually the New Testament declares "He is Love"...the Old testament, no so much.

I haven't read them, but my pastor has read them and I've read works on them by people who are familiar with the DSS. And the Old Testament that we have is not different from the DSS; that's why the DSS are such a big deal. They are around 95 to 99% identical with our other OT manuscripts (the differences are nearly all spelling variations or word order differences; nothing that changes the teaching therein).
By the way, you know nothing of Paul or the rest of the apostles.

I've seen them with my own eyes maybe two or three years ago in Kansas City. It was really heart-beating to me. I even got to see a 400 year old King James Bible. I was very excited to see God's name on the scrolls.

The Catholic Church was really paranoid about the Dead Sea Scrolls. They were quick to get their hands on them. Nobody could see them until they went over all of them. It makes you wonder whether they destroyed anything they didn't like.

The Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) is the 3rd most frequent book found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. Look in your own Bible. I bet it is not included. It's funny because this book is quoted in Jude 1:14-15. The Book of Jubilees is the 6th most frequent book found among the Dead Sea scrolls.

Actually Muslims do observe the same deity as Jews and Christians (God the Father), all you have to do is read the Koran.
You sight the use of the name Allah with an ancient culture of moon worshipers but in fact the "name" is actually a word meaning "the deity or God" in English. Arab Christians often refer to Jehovah or Yahweh as Allah because in their language it means God (the one true).
God, Allah, Jehovah= the same meaning in different languages.

i would say that the god of the muslims is of such different character that i cannot reconcile the idea that he is the same god that i worship. my BIBLE declares HE is love. i cannot think of the god of the muslims as being a god of love. i've seen the pictures of their very small kids spewing death and hatred to people they do not even know.

i understand your concern. as i understand the BIBLE, GOD in the old testament was very patient and merciful. but the people refused to listen.GOD is a GOD of judgment too. it says in isaiah that HE will not always hold back HIS wrath. that is a prophecy for the last days. and old and new testament say HE is a JUST JUDGE. i am not prepared to say i am more holy than HE. as 4 kids , i've seen pics of 3 year olds holing guns & shouting death
