mercy beaucoup mohit, ca trop bon, i am glad i came across ur video, i am a new student for web design and graphic designing, i am always looking to improve my skills and trying to be the best which is a difficult task. I have been learning since last oct 2011, but as i am going along i know more nd more nd right direction. i am using both ms front page and dreamweaver cs5, i have done photoshop cs5, flash cs5, corel cs5.1, and now going for 3d max i month course, let me kno if i need some more.

I put it in a div with a class of "nav" and set the margins to 'auto' under box, but it did not work.

My solution was to insert spry widget 2.0. Will take some time to figure out how to place it where I want it. Every day I appreciate the time and effort and cost of a professional web designer.

After deleting the five styles for the horizontal menu bar my spry menu is a total mess. Can you tell me how to reset. I've gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall dreamweaver but those five rules are lost somewhere in cyber space. :

@excfdriver huh , there was no need to re-install DW. You didnt follow the instructions properly , or else the menu bar wudnt be a mess..anyways..just delete all contents of the DIV in which u placed the menu bar..remove the css / js files linked ..can get a lil tricky be careful . V difficult to help u from here ..and than redo it again.

Not bad but what I really wanted to know is how to avoid overlapping from long text.

I will try the margins etc.. to see if that fixes the problem I have at the top level menu

Hello, Ive followed this tutorial, i am using layers i have inserted a spry menu bar, but it is showing up behind images within the layers.

Is their any way of enabling a spry menu bar to drop down in front of the layer?

One of my students posted using my account, they have created their website using layers (AP Div Tags). Within on of their AP Div Tags they have inserted an image. Then the student saw you Navigation bar and like the look of it and has followed the tutorials, the only problem we have is that we cannot get the Spry Nav Menu and the levels within the menu to appear in front of the images within the AP Div Tags. Can you change the "em" to pixels instead of doing a conversion?

@Tezzica yes u can but than if you change the font size to lets say an 80% the menu doesnt shrink down, while when working with ems changing the font size gets the width down as well

Thankyou for a great vid! I have a questions tho but you might not be able to answer it..... I'm currently working on a website, i've created it using a template. I'm using the spry navigation bar and i was wondering if it is posible to keep the current page highlighted on the spy bar. For example, if i locate to my "contact me" page, i would like the spry menu bar to stay on a certain colour, and so forth.... is this posible? if so.. how? please reply.. once again, thanks for a great vid!

I watched your videos on Spry Bar insertion and would like to know how can I make them fixed on a page (the Menu Bar changes shape depending on how much I resize the window - they collapse one below another).
