@Duc0ov portal doesnt have the half life 2 sounds.

and if you overwrite portal with half life, reinstall both games

guys , if u do not want to start with all of the weapons but just the portal gun for more fun, just type "give weapon_portalgun" and than "upgradeportalgun" (something like that , not sure if it has a sv_ before upgrade portal gun or is it upgrade_portalgun , ul just see , its the only command with U)

theres another way to get the portal gun on hl2 no nothing!, 1st u need portal and hl2... next u need to get any maps from hl2 (u can take all of em) put them in desktop... then copy all the hl2 maps and paste them in the portal maps and there u go! ask me if u need help where to get em or put em and get weapons! have fun!

@splinter1619 nope, in portal there's a console command that gives you HL2 weapons. what meatloaf is suggesting is importing the maps from HL2 into portal. then using the console to get the weapons along with the portal gun
