i cant seem to find any video helpfull 2 sho me how to remove front passenger wheel stud on 94 integra.every video i seen shows the rear studs, witch is the easiest to take out.
@drivefast6969 Will this work on a 93 accord? My boyfriend is trying to get mine off, and in the process broke it clean off and he said if he tries to get it off he starts to twist the driveshaft, and well he doesnt want to brake that. Should I just take it to a shop?
@oaklandsmost its the same on an integra. unless its a type R which has 5 lugs, but it should be easier then, because they are spaced further apart with more room to remove them.
i need to replace 4 lug bolts on my 98 civic and im kind of confused about the difference between lug bolts and wheel studs...also confused about which ones to buy....they have 14mm x 1.5 and 12mm x 1.5
and im assuming that has something to do with the threading?
Lug bolts are lug nuts aka: the thing that holds your tire on the hub/brake assembly. The studs are the things he is replacing in this video aka: the thing the lug nut threads onto. Usually you use the lug nut to get the stud all the way in the hub. Make absolutely sure the syud is 100% in the hub!
it looked like one of those what i think they call pressure drills? idk if thats there name but i call them that cause its like a hammer almost but without the AHHH SHIT MY FUCKING FINGER lol
i've read explanations of how to replace the rear studs but i also read that the front are harder to replace. well i just watched you replace the front in the video and it looks the same as the rear explanation. are the front and rear equally the same or no? i had a broken stud on the rear and just recently had another break in the front. both are on the driver's side. without doing this myself.. i was wondering if you'd know how much it would cost to replace.
actually... i was thinking about replacing ALL 16 STUDS on my del sol for brand new ones because they are all becoming somewhat rusty and had a few seize up on me. that's the reason i broke studs in the first place(one when i rotated my tires and one when i switched rims). i'm just saying that if i wanted to change all 4 studs on one wheel instead of just the broken one.. i wouldn't get charged extra right? sorry for the long double post. any information or a reply would be greatly appreciated.
HOLY MOTHER! that's a lot! well i'm ordering new studs this week so i might just have to do them myself one of these days since it's going to be summer now. thanks for the information... your del sol videos are awesome.

my wheel bearing blocks the broken stud from coming out. How did you get the stud out with it being blocked in the back?

It should be the same set up as this. The dust cover might be in the way but the suspension is the same.

Some where like Goodyear would charge $130 + $4 per stud per wheel. So, you cold be looking at $584ish to have someone replace all of them.
I have never had to do the rear but will tackle that soon.

barracuda316 2 years ago
I took off the shield a while back but should not be a problem. I 99 civic will be a little different but this should still work.

not that you have to, but i cut half of it off then just hit it with a hammer a few times and they pop right out.
