  • lol, this would be kicked out from idols or xfactor. No disrespect to Paul Simon, but trying to pull off this song live like that is much worse than many youtube cover artists.

  • @meryatathagres Oh please! Mentioning Paul Simon and XFactor in the same sentence should be a capital offence. By the way,Specsavers are now supplying hearing aids as well as optical products,so book yourself an appointment.

  • @meryatathagres what the fuck are you dribbling all over this. this is paul simon. he can sing the phone book...and what crap shit logic is that make people say "no disrespect" right before showing no respect...you arent fit to eat the skin off his shit.

  • @meryatathagres You either have no ears or you have nothing between them. On second thought, with an imbecile like you, it's probably both.

  • @meryatathagres idols and xfactor are glorified karaoke shows for wannabes. they didnt get their break the hard way, like simon and garfunkeldid, they didnt struggle for years, and tbh it shows. simon and garfunkel and bands of that quality have their talents honed by the rough years and the effort they put in shows as an invisible backing singer to their stunning voices. 100 years from now, people will still remember simon and garfunkel, the beatles, alice cooper...but not justin bieber

  • Beautiful version

  • He forgot (I feel that ice is slowly melting) and the last chorus is (it feels like years since its been clear) rather than (since its been here) which is the first two.

  • thanks

  • ;)

  • here comes the sun that's right

  • whos the other guy next to paul???

  • @SIXTOES666 Mark Stewart. An UNBELIEVABLE guitarist.

  • hmm, i just saw him live, not 30 minutes ago, he had more hair.

  • Just saw him in Phoenix AZ,This was great, whole show was wonderful!

  • George Harrison forever!

  • sucks

  • What a big shame Paul Simon was on North Sea Jazz in the Netherlands, and not ONE song was broadcasted by tv neither by radio, not even a picture... It was awful!! I hate Dutch radio and television!! They talked and talked, mostly turning just songs instead of live broadcasted music, only the deejays showing their ego on internet-stream..... What a miserable piece of shit! Count The Netherlands out, their the most foolish folks on earth!

  • George would be honored

  • @RDHDTM They did this song together on SNL around 36 yeras ago. They were good friends..

  • Awesome! This is a great video! I have one of hin playing this at the Pantages on April 21st.. but it was recorded with an iPhone.. the people there would attack you if they knew you were recording.. it was so hard to get videos! So I have a lot of audio recordings haha! Thanks for posting this, it's great! Where did you sit? We had 3rd row seats, best concert I've been to!

  • really amazing... correction; a George Harrison cover..... The Beatles only accepted Harrisons's songs if they could make a hit of it... For the honour of George Harrison, better call it a George Harrison cover, or better said; a tribute... Oh, to Paul; I'd like to do the second vocal.... So just send me a letter with a plane ticket and I'll do that... :P This guitar player isn't that good at it... :P

  • @FBAV How can you say this wasn't a Beatles song? Would you also credit only John Lennon with Help, All You Need Is Love, Revolution, etc? or McCartney with Yesterday, Hey Jude, Let It Be, etc? You speak as though George and The Beatles were separate entities. George wrote and recorded Here Comes the Sun as a member of The Beatles with the other members doing backing etc and it was released it as a Beatles song.

  • @hirdy6 I know... I like the Beatles, both their band members as solo artists. But actually; yes, I would give most credits to the writer of the song, wether if it's in a band performance or not... If I would have written it for a band, and the band split up, I'd be very unpleased not to see my name mentioned in a cover I also performed on my own or without that band. Also picked up Paul Simon was quite a good friend of ecspeccially George Harrison, not the others, that's why mention it.

  • @FBAV What do you mean both their band members? George and Ringo exist as well. It's not the Beatles without all four of them.

  • @22metzfan They all exist, but George passed by 9 years ago... I just mean, I like all the band members on their own, as solo artists.... I like the Beatles as a group... But Paul was a great friend of George, so he's probably not singing this because of the band that split up ages ago, but because of George. And George wrote it, and also performed it without the Beatles. The Beatles were great.... But they WERE, they DON'T exist anymore. The others DO, but not with the Beatles

  • @FBAV Come on, is this so difficult to understand, are you stupid or what?????

You know they split up!!! Would be the same thing if you said; Simon & Garfunkel are covering this song, only Art Garfunkel isn't there.... Holy ...........

  • @FBAV did you just talk to yourself? haha

  • Seeing him tomorrow night in Toronto. I am utterly excited.

  • Brilliant! Thank you!
