@lukedaman1231 yes, why would you; after 20 years of flyfishing for steelhead from The Netherlands all over Canada and USA, I no longer talk about steelhead taken, but about steelhead released. More pride in that, and tought to me right the first year I fished in BC. People asking "why put them back" tell me that either have I become a grumpy 50+ guy, or there is a new generation out there who are out of touch with nature and grab whatever they can. USA style. And then build a hatchery.
i love to see catch and release ...where i live in pa people r horrible with catching limit taking them back to their car or truck and goin back for more...or people who let the fish set in their freezer and throw them out.
It would be an accomplishment worthy of talking about! The simple truth is, many people don't catch fish bigger than 22 inches all of their lives. That is not important, it is how much you enjoy this sport that matters.
Very nice ! I like what I see. I will try and watch all your videos ASAP. Check-out my Steelhead fishing video clips when you have a chance. All the best in fishing. Noel

too bad that fly fishing can't be done in belgium
at least not in te dutch part of belgium
but I was wondering
why don't you use a landing net?
would that be more easy and safer for the fish?
