I'm Portuguese (yey), I think portuguese has one of the hardest gramatic, at least from the languages I know =V

One of the most known types of music we have is "Fado" (I don't know if you use other word to it), maybe you can try, from singers like Amália Rodrigues, Mariza(if you google it it's the first site), etc.

Portuguese has a very different pronounce too

One tip for those complaining about the Finnish pronunciation: Find a native female speaker to record the lyrics spoken normally. Trying to learn it from hearing them sung isn't going to help nearly as much as that will. Once you know how it sounds 'normally' then you can sing it right.

(Still a damned fine job anyway, critics be damned!)

I can't understand how Pehmu couldn't understand the lyrics :/ I think you did it as well as any non finn could do. The "T" sounded too muc like "Th" or something.. I can't speak english well enough to say all that I would like to, but that was a very good version of "Kuolema tekee taiteilijan".
