I payed about $150 on Black Friday for my Sansui 19" LCD HDTV.Pretty good tv.Certainly I've seen better,but for a small tv to use in my bedroom,it works just fine.Also I should mention I no longer really care for CRTs anymore.After my first month of using it,I decided I was not going back to a CRT.HD and let alone LCD tv's look far better.

You should probably change the settings.Go into the menu for it,and go where it says picture settings,and then turn everything including the backlight down halfway.Then set the color temperature to warm.Don't worry it's nothing complex,it only takes a minute.

I own a element 22" and have for about a year. One of the reasons that your tv doesn't look hd is because you don't have hd cables. PS2 also has almost no hd capability.

i have a 42" 1080p panasonic plasma hooked up to a ps3, wii, comcast hd dvr, which are all hooked up to a sony receiver which is hooked up to a sony 5.1 channel 1000 watt surround sound system which is all controlled by a logitech harmony one universal remote control. bitches.

I was considering an LCD HD but I decided to get a Sanyo Flat Screen HD. Its not thin or anything but it cost the same as this and is a 26 inch. The sound is good but I hooked it up to two 5 wolfer speakers. Good Deal, check it out.

Yeah, the sound is pretty God Awful. I've sort of gotten USED to the buzzing tiny sound it makes when it has to pump out extremes of BASS or TREBEL.

Haha. I have the same TV and I'm actually happy with it. It's right in my room next to my bed and I think it's pretty clear from what I can see. I like it and haven't had any problems with it. Oh, but the 'Element' on the front will peel off eventually along with the other stickers on the front, so just be aware.

Large LCD's only look bad with standard def stuff the HD stuff on them looks brilliant, and all tv's have horrible sound. Invest in some external speakers or some surround sound.

you can't expect the sound in that little thing to bee too good. Plug in some basic 2.1 PC speakers and it will be much better! Also yeah get component (Red, Green, Blue) cables or at least s-video if your only running the composite (Yellow) as that will really help the contrast and sharpness! I had a little LCD in my room when I lived at home they are great for a room.

wow that tv kinda sucks for 200 bucks. I got one thats like 28 inch or so Olevia brand HDTV and holy hell is that thing loud.. Its like normal volume is 3 marks above zero. Also it was only 460 dollars

yeah but the sound is like 10 times better.. and my picture goes up to 1080i.. and you CAN tell the difference when playing a 360 game and screwing around with the graphic options. I got my TV on sale actually.. It was originally like 900 bucks but K-mart wanted to get rid of em.

Dude....that's one of BRILLIANT things about Anime. It's not about episodes because it's not about money (well not always.) Trigun was meant to be ONE SEASON just so the artist could express himself and fully solidify his universe with themes and then be done with it. More episodes would ruin it.

You have to get component cables and switch the video settings in your PS2 Menu to the other setting to use your TV to full use. Words on a HDTV are a lot more clear if you get component cables, but using A/V cables (Red, White, Yellow) make it look worse because a HDTV has a lot more pixels than a standard TV making it look really bad.
