@tonik3030 Paul Bostaph. One of the best. Never compared to Dave Lombardo just quite, for example the double bass fill towards the end of Angel Of Death, he could never hold that as long as Dave.

@Vmt16 @Vmt16 He did that once for a split second on the "Live at the Warfield" dvd and that was the last song on a long set. Paul Bostaph played almost every song more accurately and better than Dave ever did and they were Dave's songs for fucks sake.

@whiskerbicuit They still play Angel Of Death towards the end and Dave can hold it for 20 seconds. But its still the fact that Bostaph is just more technical, Dave has the groove. Divine Intervention, Diabolus In Musica and God Hates Us All have the fast songs and the slow songs but they don't have the same groove, the same feel of ease as Seasons In The Abyss or Christ Illusion have. And that's what makes Lombardo better. You only see Bostaph play thrash. Dave has always played more than that.
