I have some of the same problems with my SK20 that you have with yours. I have found that not playing it regularly will make the volume sliders, particularly the master volume knob, scratchy. You have to keep moving them so that they don't get scratchy. Also, for the faulty buttons, you probably just have to press more firmly on them.
Sigur Ros used this synth to great effect on their first three recordings.
Totally on my hitlist now as those organ sounds really stand out! Ensemble
effect on the strings is pretty cool too with a great late 70s appeal.
