@rockeroftheband1 Cuz cymbals need room to move especially crash. Its better to put on a ride that you just ping on basically. Cuz the crash will bend when hit and if they cant do that properly with a bell on top the produce a unbalanced effect to where the crashes dont move/flow as much as they should and start to crack. I've gone through many cymbals. and i work for a cymbal company. So I had to learn the do's and don'ts of cymbals.
