Both games are made by KoG, so Elsword is sort of like a sequel to Grand Chase.

@illusionmagician Entirely different game from Grand Chase, there is no storyline similarities, only similar characters.

Elsword being similar to Elesis, both looking for a person, both warriors.

Aisha and Arme being similar, both a certain "head" of magic.

Rena and Lire, both being Elves.

Eve and Mari both being skilled "mechanics" and both having barely any memory left. Raven and Lass, both being possessed by a certain thing (Raven= Rage, Lass=Kaze'Aze) and being fast characters.

If you know when Elsword was first released, Elsword's sister IS Elesis (Later renamed "Elsa") and Rena and Aisha were originally Lire and Arme. KoG had to change Elsword because of copyright issues in other countries (since GC and Elsword are hosted by different companies in other countries). But I agree with you that, as of now, Elsword and Grand Chase are two "different" game from the same company.

Each character has their own Intro telling the story about how they ended up in the group. In Elsword's he tells about his past and how he became who he is because his older sister died in a war when he was around 6-8 years old. His older sister is one of the characters from GC.

Ok so I think I saw her in the intro now. Also in my deviant account I uploaded 1 of the pages of the Elsword comic or manhwa whatever you wanna call it, and it's a page where it shows a shadow resembling Elesis. It seems as though she was leaving and Elsword is only a little kid(I forgot to mention, it was a flashback in his memories.)
