  • that man talks like a girl. lol

  • 6:15 lsd in pills and powder :) thats new for me

  • It's time we open our mind and realize these compounds and our nervous systems are one. They create religious experience and heal the body and soul.

  • when hoffman first ingested LSD it was on accident, and he didnt think he was going crazy he had a euphoric experience. then he wanted to repeat it but LSD is so potent that he took way too much then thought he was going crazy.

  • good stuff, thanks for uploadign this man

  • It does remind me of the ancestral ways of healing of the chamans of south america.

  • fuck that, anxiety and depression treatment when you can actually treat the cancer with marijuana, come to my channel and check out the run from the cure videos.

  • ur fucking ignorant u peice a shit, ur brainwashed by the propaganda that our own government issues out. do research, watch my videos and just try to prove me wrong.

  • Be open minded friend, Marijuana is not the only beneficial medicine offered by nature :)

  • alright, i never said it was the only beneficial natural medicine... my point was instead of treating anxiety and depression, with psilocybin, you could use medical marijuana which would help with anxiety and depression, but also attack the cancerous cells, and eventually rid your body of cancer. i was just stating that pot would be a more helpful medicine and would actually take care of the cancer.

  • I see what you mean. But I also think that it's important to treat anxiety too. There are many studies which indicate that stress and anxiety catalyze the production of high levels of cortisol; a substance which is linked to a whole array of diseases. But using MJ to treat the cancer itself is also something that needs to be utilized more. I mean who the hell wants to get chemo anyway??

  • @mermadeinheaven Thank you for saying that :)

  • Marijuana isn't prescribed to people with cancer(unless they have a tumor), it's prescribed to people who go through chemotherapy. Also, yes, Psilocybin is healthier then marijuana(if marijuana is smoked, marijuana is safer if eaten)

  • yeah i know its prescribed to people who get chemo, but it has so many other, more beneficial uses than that. psilocybin is definitely not healthier than marijuana. you are not going to trip and potentially harm yourself from using marijuna.

  • I meant direct harm, Psilocybin does not harm any part of your body.(speaking directly, not accidental). Marijuana on the other hand(if smoked) can hurt your lungs, I should know, lol ;)

  • true, it could, not as much as tobacco smoke though. i know thats irrelevant, just wanted to point that out.

  • Ya. Marijuana did help with my asthma though. After I stopped though(not forever xD) =/. I should really eat it instead lol

  • yeah, it almost has no negative effect if consumed with food. :)

  • @marack: medical cannabis (a.k.a. marijuana) is often recommended for conditions associated with cancer - such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, headaches, muscle spasms and pain, especially neuropathic pain, which is difficult to impossible to correct with pharmaceutical, synthetic & dangerous prescription pain pills.

Can you post a link to the studies you rely on to support your claim that psilocybin is healthier than smoked marijuana? I'm reviewing all positions on this issue. Thanks.

  • there was a 25 page study written in treat yourself magazine i have it. i think they may be right, and the weird thing is they never studied amanita's yet on this stuff, which may work even better.

  • @Marleyites go to the erowid website. You will find all your information there. Thanks

  • which country and state was this in?

  • The beginning says she lived in Los Angeles, California, USA. The news story was on Canada's CBC news.

  • I think if you have near fetal disease, all illegal drugs should be ingested

  • yeah, but the next day he took it on purpose (Hoffman) to see if it was the cause of his brief trip the day before

  • Hoffman didn't ingest LSD to test the compound, he inadvertently absorbed some, through his skin.

He thought he was loosing his mind for a time, but that's only because he didn't realize he had taken any mind altering substance.

Hallucinogenics are the multi-tool of consciousness, all we need to do is remove the silly legislation & taboos attached to the aforementioned compounds.

  • How do we always end up on the same video.

    LSDFunk is right again.

  • Synchronicity, man. =D

  • @Lsdfunk yeah It was accidental, this vid is wrong lol.

  • @zookr3w It's a mainstream media news source: of course it's got it's facts screwwed up.

    ;D

    PEACE

  • @Lsdfunk he actually took some more of it on purpose after he accidently absorbed it.

  • @Lsdfunk at first it was an accident, april 16, then he purposefully ingested LSD 3 days later, april 19 (which happens to be today, Happy Bicycle day!)

  • @Lsdfunk yep. then there won't be any of the bullshit going around, it'd make the world a safer place.

  • psilocybin

    (sil-o-cyben)

  • Gods and religion, but lenses through which individuals may experience these substances. Such beliefs are the colors their light shines in. This is beautiful.

I am happy to see that research into the healing properties of these substances, (psilocybin) have begun again. Just so happens, I'm getting a graduates degree in Psychology/psyco-biology and neurology. Can't wait to research with the pros!

  • awesome video. god bless the flesh of the god(s)/

  • Psychedelics are already complex enough, lets not add religion and gods to the mix.

  • shut up its just metaphor

  • Excellent video! Great find! This is a must see.

  • Lighthouse450-
