  • lol this motherboard is prehistorical

  • you can get them from ebay

    they are expensive

  • so...if i got a pci motherboard to replace my AGP mothboard would i have to replace all my stuff like RAM and my graphics card? also i have no idea where to get a new motherboard.

  • Hi, I'm having a problem with my monitor, when I took off the CPU, and put it back in again, the monitor wouldn't turn on for some reason.

Anyone have an idea what's the problem might be?

  • It could be the either the monitor or the GPU. If it isnt either of those then sorry SOL

  • can you put another video card on the pci ?

  • Yes.

  • yes you can.

  • Nice video but why so short video? 1 minute videos on Installing/identifying is NOT enough... I hardly understood anything

  • Underneath the swirlygig is the smart thingy which is married to your motherboard. You may or may not like mom on your case but you'll love having a mother board in your case which is pretty cool... or at least it should be if the swirly gig is wurkin right. You need a big fart fan to clear the case out and a grapplix cards so's yer television can cipher out the pictures right. hookup the battery charger, grab Elly-Dee's pigtails and plug in, go fer your drive and it should work wen u get back

  • ????????????????

  • DUDE i fucking hate expertvillage , they have all the time so short videos, where i can nothing understand !!!

  • The inside of that case is a mess, they should have covered cable managment aswell.

  • i have a compaq presario desk top computer it's a 5000 ser. 5420 us it has amd athlon xp processor model 1700 (1.47 ghz) 512mb sync dram. can you please tell me where can i buy a motherbord or a replacement used. my presario started to smoke. i ask a computer tech about the problem and he told me i need a new computer. i have that buy i just like to find a motherbord. can it be replace. thanks sgt6

  • i hade the same pc a lil time ago but that pc is really old so i bought a new one,

i really recommend just buying a new computer

  • Hi my name is blah blah and im going to show you how to install

    "Mother boardssss"

    LOL

  • does it matter what slot u put one ram stick ? (1gb)

can it be any slot for ram

  • kinda. if you look closely on the board most say dimm 1 dimm 2 and so on. you want to start at one and work your way up

  • yupp, but iff u have 2 1gb rams and 4 ram slots it will be better iff u put one in the first slot and the second ram in de first of the second row:P

  • sry nub questiion but does it matter what kind of video card u buy? i mean does each computer need a specific card if i where to buy a new one?

  • some computers have different slots. my moms gay computer couldnt use my brothers 3 month old graphics card. my moms computer is 6 yrs old

  • not really but iff u have a old computer with a old motherboard it will probably not handle a 8800 gtx for example

  • my pc is 4 years old

    can it handle a 8800 GT :D ??

  • it may be able to handle it, but there will be no performance increase. your cpu will effectively "bottleneck" your graphics card, because the old cpu can't keep up.

  • what setup do you have?

  • if u probably take it apart and replace EVERYTHING!

  • It all depends on the type of motherboard you have. Some of the older cards run on an AGP port, the new one's usually run on a PCI Express slot.

  • lol, chav.

  • Can I put video card in PCi slots(not express)? because I only have pci and not agp or pci-E

  • Depends on the configuration of your video card. It seems almost unbelievable that any mainboard now doesn't have AGP or PCI-E, but if your vid card is old enough, it will may just be PCI. However, if it's a new card and your motherboard doesn't support either PCI-E or AGP, it's probably time to upgrade your motherboard.

  • i wanna upgrade my motherboard but i think its to hard, is it?

  • no just take everything out and replace it with the new motherboard and replace everything back on.
