I was in Berlin in February. Wonderful city. My Father is German and my Grandad died fighting for the Volk Sturm in April 1945. He has survived the war in a shirt and tie until the last week when he had to face the Red Army with a wooden training rifle. As an Englishman I have mixed feelings about it. The Nazis were evil to the core and so got what they deserved. Tragically they dragged millions of other to their graves with them.
