Brilliant, heartfelt song - & typically Alex philosophy - your future is in your hands, don't rely on others or blame other people. A perfect last track for the last SAHB LP. This is on CD - the 'Portrait' CD lists Mrs Blackhouse but actually what's on the CD is NCD - got one from Amazon reseller - I think its only on the 1987 release on the 'Start' label (STFCD1). It exists on vinyl - seen on Ebay sometimes - Its on the Vertigo release of Rock Drill (6370 423) not the Mountain one (TOPS 114)
I first head this record on a sunny saturday afternoon digging the garden and listening to Alan Freeman on Radio One .........my god I feel old saying that ! Never could find it on record but it has been worth waiting all these tears just to hear it again

Remember buying this album with a sticker covering up this track as being replaced and not released, no end of suprises with these masters of musical variety and entertainment with a glaswegian edge !
I can't believe I only heard this song for the first time today and it was so brilliant that I went looking for other links and found this. Excellent piece, very well put together.
Just missed so much great tribute and have always loved this track Alex thank you for the music it has never been the same since you left. Always on my player. VAMBO ROOL AND TOMMOROW DOES BELONG TO YOU. Ged
Welldone, thank you. And the audio track was choosen absolutely correct. No Complaints Department - you need to make this comment. Not too many people knows this track. I know what am I talking about. Thank you really. Andrey.
Can't believe I've never seen this one before, but I have to agree. BEST unreleased song ever. You know these words were from his heart and nowhere else. RIP man.
A lovely Tribute to a great man. I think this is a first here on youtube...great pictures too..And to say a very underrated band, would be a huge understatement.

I survived the demise of Elvis, Marc, Bing & Michael, but I will never get over the death of Alex Harvey.....
