  • "ohhhhh..." - please don't crash behind the bush!

  • Its ok!..Take your time going to get your bike!..Its not like theres a big rush to prevent someone coming in the opposite direction from ...RUNNING YOUR LAZY ASS OVER, AND KILLING THEMSELVES IN THE PROCESS, YA FAT TURD!!!

  • i like how they are shouting at the guy on the bike to slow down

  • As i Hear there peoúple callyng to slow down, it would make more sence to have there yellow and red flags, wouldnt it?

When I see someone waving it could tell me something, but i know for sure that i cant hear other stock piped bike over my pipes not to say someone yelling for like quarter a mile away.

  • They photograph riders and post them on the internet so you can buy pictures of your ride. If they also run a camera they can provide entertaining videos to us on Youtube as well.

  • hahaha big daddy or what!!!

  • How many crashes go on at this place in a day?

  • the hell? do people just camp around this bend?

  • was he to fast?

  • @husqvarnastyler I think he was too slow...If he was faster he wouldn't crash...

  • You guys should put some course workers with flags to warn oncoming traffic of accidents. Yellow flag=slow...Green flag=go...black flag=CHP ahead.

  • guiness world record for the most lowsides on 1 corner

  • i'm pretty sure he lost balance, very dangerous on this type of roads.

  • this shit has to be fake...ive only been riding a little over a month and i wouldnt make that noob mistake...also with all that leather you would think hes been riding forever.

  • i have a 2010 yamaha ri it fucking sucks ass need my gsxr back

  • why is it so many people crash on this road?? haha theres a bunch of them!

  • @marvelousmark93 All of the weekend heroes stick to the Snake like flies on shit. Famous twisty road with photographers = douche magnet. Malibu canyon roads tend to be pretty sandy, and if you're trying to ride at trackday speeds on those roads, you'll inevitably eat shit at some point. Doesn't help that the turn most of these videos show goes off-camber at the end and looks deceptively easy. Lots of people go in too fast and then just run out of lean angle.

  • @kuhlka your right on ! it isnt trackasphalt. and most of these guys use the wrong tires.

  • @kuhlka haha thats pretty true. youd get some good video just by hanging out where you are on top of the hill.

  • This road hates motorcycles

  • all this time i been watching these videos, and its been RNickeymouse FML lol

  • ho ho ho

  • nice frame sliders bro!

  • too slow hahahaha.

  • how does this guy film so many people crashing? does he like see a rider come around a corner and goes quick bro throw some rocks around the next turn!

  • @icyworm1 he goes there often, they just set up and film all the time, and there are literally LOTS of bikers that go there

  • haha he was going to slow

  • I think he slowed down while in the turn,

  • The Moral of the story. DO NOT FUCK WITH CAMBER!

  • やっぱりバイクってちゃんとした格好で乗らないと怖いですね。

    たまにこういったスポーツタイプのバイクなのに半袖Tシャツ、ジーンズ、サンダル、なんて見かけるから恐ろしくてたまらない

  • bicycle riders are vermin

  • @ninesticks omg you kid go an drive your little tricycle

  • frond braking...

  • did all these crashes happen in one day?

  • @eaidk very popular road in California. its the West coast version of the tail of the dragon (deals gap)

  • "Once the throttle is cracked open at the beginning of a turn, it is applied continuously and smoothly throughout the remainder of the turn."

Now say that to yourself 1000 more times. Then try turning again.

  • @tehXKnight Your so hillarious! Twist the wrist II! LOL! But, it is true!

  • @tehXKnight Twist of the Wrist!!!!

  • I think the craziest guys on this road are the bicycle riders...

  • You guys are a bunch of clowns. Dumping daily should be kept to the bathroom, not the highway. Unexperienced clowns.

  • I wouldnt pedal my cycle there. Too many deadshots on the road.

  • why cyclist not help ?

  • @03mdhillug Probably bc too many assholes go screaming by him every weekend when he rides Mulholland.

  • lol at the guy pedaling right after, do work !

  • @hypebeasttt The turtle always wins the race : )

  • road is sandy

  • Yes , breaking in the Turn is not the beste decission, but the road looks dirty ( sand on it) for me .

  • CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME, BRIEFLY, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CROSS PLANE CRANK AND A NORMAL INLINE 4?? IT SOUNDS SO MUCH MORE GRUNTY LIKE A V4 RATHER THAN THE SCREAMY FINE TUNED PREVIOUS R1'S

    MANY THANKS

  • @gvzevb1 Gives it an uneven firing order so it sounds more like a v4 than an Inline.

  • @gvzevb1 theres a video here on youtube that explains your question more in depth to what your looking for. but it pretty much makes the overall bike faster with more low end an more mid range torque

  • body position reasoning...proper technique would allow the bike to stand more upright, also the body weight should be on the foot pegs, not the seat or bars, lowering center gravity....if executed properly there would be no reason to go near the brakes middle turn.

  • How the fu$k did he manage to fall...it makes no sense at all....

no riding skill what so ever...sad really.

  • if i was him i would be like dude did you see that fuckin rabbit i just hit! mother fucker made me wipe out too.

  • this one time I busted a nut so so hard, it could be heard from 3 towns over, and echoed for 2 days.

  • on every single motorcycle crash i hear is this guy saying u all right

  • stupit!!jajaja

  • And the poofter cyclist just kept on going...

  • body position at fault here more than anything

  • @favthings body position locked his front wheel up? dang, thats impressive.

  • @Chuckles9350 yes since his body position was incorrect. the bike would be more upright allowing more contact between road and tire which would stop the wheel from loosing grip so easily.

  • @favthings if he locked his front wheel then I doubt that body position would have saved him. If he didn't lock the front and lost traction for some other reason (something in the road perhaps) then body position might have been the reason. No doubt the position could hav3 been better, but it seems like brake control was more at fault.

  • @favthings how? please tell me so i can avoid the same fate

  • za wolno jechał papudrak

  • i wish all the accidents where exactly like this! Not much spensive for the motorbike, not to much pain for the motorboy! ;)

  • Pathetic..

  • FAAAYYYUUUULLLLL

  • @spokelse0 Very true. Never thought of brake lights. positive sign I left road racing behind. Just too f**cking dangerous... take it to your track, guys. One mistake can make your relatives unhappy for the rest of THEIR lives.

  • I would just say, he had the throttle completely shut throughout the turn, which transfers weight to the front. that, plus he is moving downhill, which adds even more load to the front wheel. there always is a point where the best tire has to give in. That was a noob error but not as bad as applying the brakes in full tilt. which I don't think he did.

  • these clowns are why my insurance is high

  • That was weird. He was at the point where the curve straightens out when he went down.

  • @calineophyte

no it was sharpening. look again. pause the vid, right in front of the boulder and the tree, the turn tightens. That's why he breaked and that's why he fell

  • @calhayes27 Hi Cal. I am very familiar with this road. He has almost completed the hairpin at the point that he looses traction and tucks the front. It is not nearly the tightest point of this turn. I am just surprised that he gets through a fairly tight hairpin and goes down when he is almost through the turn. Perhaps he did not scrub enough speed before entry and was still trail braking when he reached something unseen but slippery.

  • thanks the link to that road came out good ima try that place this sunday

  • @chevymoney86 Did you go today?

  • Aww you didn't.

  • My god, once i have these bike!!!! LOUSER

I can ride that , shop me 1 and i show , how must use!!!!!

  • easy spot to rob bikes

  • I'm no expert rider but I think you need to be going a lot faster if you want to trail brake at that lean angle

  • rnickeymouse -lemme say you've got a pretty good life if this is what you do for a job.. watch bikes fall and ride all day :)

  • look dangit.. everyone who posted a comment is wrong.. its that lil squirrel running out in the road fault.. ha!

  • Everyones had a accident at one time or another, it's all well and good telling people what you think you know, the reality is if you want to get your knee down on a public road there are many unforseen hazards, be careful out there.

  • These turns are just too slow and the slightest input has a major reaction. This guy went too far past the trail braking stage and lost the front.

At the track you hang turns at 100 and 120 mph. The bike is on rails at that point and you have a lot more room for recovery. I have always said:

HIT A TRACK NOT A TRUCK!!!

  • atleast he wasnt the hurt and bike wasnt BADLY hurt its couldev gone over the edge of that cliff thing

  • soo all these lowslides happen for alot of things? braking during turn not seeing where you want to go:S or lowslides are just inevitable?

  • who the hell was the asshole clapping ?

  • funny how you get ppl saying they know what he did wrong when no one watching this is a gp racer anything worth commenting on almost guaranteed of that .should just ask stoner he has had a lot of lowsides he would know because of the bike of course

  • were they telling the cyclist to slow down? cause that was kinda funny.

  • are these people out there watching every day?

  • its not THAT he used the brake its HOW he used the brake... the slow motion you can clearly see him apply the brake prior to the tuck. This is a fear/skill crash

  • 0:25 doesnt look he touched his frontbrake.

Before 0:25 he was already falling, looks like the brake lever hits the tarmac imo

  • @17james17 His brake light was on through the whole corner, you can see it turn off as he releases the bars when he falls.

You can see the skid mark on the pavement where his front wheel locked.

The foot lever has nothing to do with it, the front slipped not the rear.

He lost it because he was braking in the corner, it's pretty clear.

  • the sound srraaacccthhhhhhh ieeuuuu i can feel the pain.

  • yes, you can see a skid marks on the asphalt at 0:25

  • @markuljaa

    I think Oil or Stones?

  • poor bike.

  • This is not a crash!!!

  • All those crashes on Mulholland, someone needs to bring a yellow flag.

  • Its a shame that the bush was in the way. oh well.

  • @rnickeymouse

hi there every video you upload is about superbike low side crash.. do you live on the road is my question? LOL :D

  • This is why you don't ride 10/10 on street!!! If you do you leave no reserve for breaking - all your traction is gone. Nothing left for breaking. If you ride 7 or even 8/10 and you need to break in the turn you can do it. Additionally putting more lean on the bike is better (if you're not already at max lean angle) never ride 10/10 on street...

  • @eagledriver101 learn to spell BRAKING before trying to sound smart son.

  • @IBangedHerTwice I would agree with you except that the dude is right....and I'm on of the peeps that rides 10/10 everywhere I go on a bike

  • @xmadcrackerx i commented his spelling, not his opinion in the comment dude. he could be very right, and thats nice you agree. i wasnt disputing that.

  • @ Tomos. You brake before the turn. If you have to trail brake on the street then you're in trouble. He locked up his front while leaned over and lost traction.

  • Why must you go for the limit :P

  • I hate videos like this because you don't know what caused the drop. Everyone saying he used front brake wrong time, he didn't accellerate out, grease on road, he didn't full lean, he coasted the bike instead of keeping steady throttle ect.......we'll never know unless the person in the video tells us what he did!

  • '09 modell ... ouch...

  • can clearly see a footpeg scrape due to the grade

  • Then he must have used the front brake, but in a dusty road like this it would not surprise me if the front lost grip because of sand etc.

  • It looks like the front loses grip, i don't think it was a driver's error.

  • @Draslay31 if the front looses grip it IS a riders error!

  • @mark675 if the front goes..youre braking @ the wrong time.if the back goes..youre hitting the gas @ the wrong time.brake into the turn, and gas out of the turn,WHEN YOUR BIKE IS UPRIGHT!!never gas,or brake in the middle of a turn!!

  • @mikeluckey thats sort of right but u can loose the front end without braking in the turn and you can also brake in a bend without loosing it just takes abit of fine brake control, also your meant to give it gas in the middle of the bend- (obviously not too much) -and then start winding it on more towards the exit

  • Dirt and sand on the roadway and toooooo much leaning for what 1 is trying to do. If ya wanna drag knees-take it to the track.

  • @ScaronX2 lol, do you ride? plenty of roads are good for knee draggin

  • @vernymax Yes I actually do ride. Never said that all fo the roads similar to that are bad. My experience has been that alot of them have alot of sand or loose debris especially after wet weather. It just seems that in an instance like this it is a combination of possible loose debris and leaning too much.

  • @ScaronX2 yeah, I agree but I think a little knee might have kept him upright on this one

  • @vernymax Possible or trying to keep the bike in an upright position vs going into a heavy lean.

  • @ScaronX2 when it rains it brings all the gas and oil up to the surface of the road, which makes it pretty slick.alot of rain will wash it all away, but just a little rain makes it hell.

  • @mikeluckey I know that all to well lol. Ive been ridin for 5 years and some change.

  • Why not do this on a track?

  • body posture is wrong as well, his top half of his body is well over the median line of the bike, making a low-side more likely, if he braked, well yeah, gonna happen for sure !

hope the biker and bike made a full recovery !

  • nice bike man... =)

  • hahahhah the bike passing trought make me smile :D

  • You can clearly see him applying the front brakes @ 0:25. That's the reason why he low sided. You brake before the turn not while turning.

  • @mtech So what would or do you do when you have to stop while leaned in a turn? Applying the brakes while leaning is sometimes necessary and is ok as long as you use it properly.

  • @mtech

can you say what time it is on his wrist watch? :D

  • @mtech

YEP totally obvious by the way his right wheel suddenly tucked under. He wasn't leaned over far enough for that to be a low side (not at all). He had plenty of tire to go. Clear case of running outta talent and panicking mid-corner. Fair enough, most of us have been there.

..Prob easier on his ego to tell everyone he low sided... you know, cuz he had it leaned over so far that the bike/tires couldn't handle his awesomeness.

  • @mtech

Thats not true, when you race and outbrake someone and dive into the corner...trust me,you going into the corner with brakes on.

Best is braking before going into the corner, but i often use my brakes into corners.

It depens on the situation and ur judgement how and where you brake.

  • @17james17 You're trying to explain trail braking, but you have no clue as to how it is exercised.

Shhhhhssshhhh...just watch the video. Spare us your expertise.

  • @Adeysworld

Adeys, Your advice is always well taken, this is why I watch these and read the comments, thanks

Don't compromise your credibility by engaging in a pissing match with anyone of lesser intellect.

In otherwords, Avoid having a battle of wits with an unarmed adversary.

  • @mtech: unless there's something in your way, or you relise you're to fast...

  • @mtech its not the best solution but you can press the rear brake slightly to correct your course

  • @mtech yeah but it's harder then it looks when trying to keep pace and go around the turn in your lane..

i know what you're saying though..

  • @mtech ppl trail brake tho ???

  • @mtech trail braking? not too well

  • @mtech I don't know, how you can tell that from this distance. To me it looks like the front end turns in due to loss of traction. Impossible to say if the handlebars turn or the brake lever moves. At least you think you know something ;-)

  • @Vollhirni so the white light that turned off after he hit the pavement wasn't his brake lights. You can't see the red because you're the guy taking the video was at an angle. He was surely going too fast because he was braking from the moment he initiated his turn and he locked it.

  • @mtech

you must have some eyes there if you are able to see him grabbing the front brake. My opinion is he is not positioned well enough off of the side of the bike. His right knee is not extending towards the asphalt. Just my opinion though.....

  • @mtech rear brakes are for some reasons

  • Ohh no, it is new R1

  • @tobrianI Well make sure to use lots of lube....you don't want one of those giant, gaping assholes where you are shitting out pancakes!!

Also, don't let the guy CIB (Cum In Butt).....it can really get raw up there and you don't want butt blisters. Use a rubber....plus you don't want your dick smelling like shit....one time my butt buddy got a piece of corn stuck in his peehole....

Tell us how your first gay experience goes!

  • hahahahahaha, what a hero............

  • What caused this crash? I see no brake light...no throttle chop. Did someone spray soapy water (invisible) on the road...when the front wheel hit the slick spot he was spit off the bike in a millisecond?

Some are saying falls are due to the road being off camber. Look at a pic for yourself on google. Road looks perfectly level.

  • I hear some applause in 0:03.

    What's up??

  • que bicho cavalo, fez a curva muito devagar :S NAO SABE NAO FAZ :D

  • eirther soo slow of a turn, leaned too hard, or from the looks of it the tire slipped from the rocks from the side

  • at least he knew how to fall and didnt just jump of the bike

  • @tobrianI Ignore this loser impostor who has waaay too much time on his hands. Mrbooger33333 get a life and stop impersonating me because I slapped you on another post.

  • Also, who the fuck is clapping on this video? Give me your address please.

  • I really don't get this at all. WTH happened?? He's not even leaning enough for his peg to touch the road, doesn't appear to be sand there, he's not going too fast, I don't think even hitting the front brake at that lean angle would do this. It looks like he put it down on purpose. I know that's not what happened but... ???

  • @tobrianl He rolls off the gas. You can hear the revs drop, just before the front washes out. Roll-off the gas, weight transfers forward, overloads the front tyre and bam - lowside. Probably would have gotten away with it except it looks like he is going downhill which exaggerates the weight transfer.

  • @lukemillar What would be the best way to slow at that point? Rear brake or just straighten out, slam the brakes, then resume corner? I'm about to get an R1 and as they are a bit heavy, I want to avoid this.

  • @tobrianl It looks like he is at the corner exit so shouldn't be slowing at all! What you want to do it maintain a positive roll on gas while beginning to pick up the bike. That will keep the weight bias towards to the back of the bike and picking it up will help with traction

If you have to slow the bike for an emergency/bad surface etc. then I would pick up the bike as much a possible then apply the brakes. Rear brake is to easy to lock in an emergency, so if you do use it, be careful.

  • @lukemillar Awesome. Thx!

  • why everyone crash here, and why you film all of this crashes?

  • This is sincerely a heartbreaking video. I probably would've cried if i dropped my bike

  • This is normally not possible.

The road is not ok .

  • If you listen closely i think he down shifted on the turn.

    or do i hear wrong?

i feel your pain on the r1. got an r6 and trying to keep her up and off the floor.

    beautiful r1's though.

  • I love and hate this road for this reason, everyday we rode it someone went down.

  • dude do u just sit here everyday and watch bikes go down, lol

  • day/month/year and not month/day/year

  • @kostas7896 ur stupid

  • @john12798 f u

  • the worse part about a crash like that is pick your bike up and seeing the side all scratched up .... it hurts like a bad tooth

  • lean angle was too great. u can see right before the front tire gives out that his leg is all the way tucked in due to amount of lean he was doing. he could have probably made the turn on hot race tires, but still, he pushed the limits. i give him props though. sucked that his bueatiful R1 got hurt. lol

  • 1/10/2010 chyba na odwrot ;] 10/01/2010 popraw sie kolego

  • Jesus. You americans have some of the most beautiful biking roads.

  • This is why I don't ride a motorcycle. How many times have you been in your car and it just slides out from underneath you? I saw a guy on a bike in the city come to a stop light at 45mph, he skidded the last 25 feet almost into the intersection. Can't stop, can't stay up unless you are very careful. Heck the guy here didn't seem to be going that fast. Then you have to look out for idiots in cars not stopping at stop signs. I saw a biker almost get hit by a car. Cars are everywhere!

  • @trade350 And yet, I've ridden motorcycles for forty years and still have yet to be hurt. Yeah, I've had my share of road rash due to morons not watching. Bikes stop faster than cars, can maneuver better than cars, You just have to pay attention. Kind of like the car drivers are supposed to do, not put on make up, talk on the phone, text, play with your girl friend or any number of things I see them do. Ever hit oil on the road? You'll know when you do, you'll be in the ditch.

  • @trade350 I got hit from behind at a red light, tore me and my bike up pretty good

  • looks like he lost the front...

  • thats skills.

  • dang dude that sad to see I hope you and the bike were ok but keep riding

  • new fairings and hes good to go... :p
