  • can you do this with any other magika thingy ?

  • Since you're on PC you should have just used Hot Keys. This would have been a minute long video haha

  • Everything can become OP in this game. Alchemy can make destruction/melee/archery do thousands of damage.

  • This is why I stick to shock and fire based spells. More fun.

  • if you want to play a mage in skyrim and be successful, download the "Magic Scaling" mod in the steam workshop. it makes your sparks do more than 8 damage per second at high levels. it doesn't make you overpowered, either.

  • You really have no right to claim mages are OP when you're using an exploit. If you want to prove that mages are OP, then do it without an exploit.

  • @onlinegamer1959 you can get unlimited magicka legit.

  • there's a way to really have unlimited magicka i heard with enchantments added to apparel. like each one has 25% magicka fortification. it has to be for destruction though.

  • You call them overpowered because you were abusing the game? Nice one

  • what race high elf?

  • LOL "Now I have 100, now I have whatever." 0:26 then 2:05 for a rlol.

And who does that? Just sits there pausing the game over and over again.

Don't diss the game just because YOUR being an ass. Dislike.

  • i guess the recent patch took care of this...

  • I killed à dragon at level 2 with inkt spelle and. I was all alone and my compagnon of course

  • When you level up you know how you choose 1 of 3 attributes to upgrade? I always choose Health and Stamina, now I am a GOD. I am more powerful than a guy who plays on the PC, always uses GOD MODE, and sets it on the easiest difficulty.

  • Lol Frosty McBoogerBalls

  • fucking genius

  • heh i destroyed a giant at level 3 in full blown head forward combat and i used a mage so all you warriors out there i dare you to try that.

  • Its not a exploit! Its just a strategy. Let me guess yours is run up there with an iron dagger hoping to kill the giant. This was very clever and you should use methods like this in most battles

  • I hate videos like this people teaching other people how to exploit play the game right children.

  • Each to their own, cool exploit but I rather not cheat :D trouble is all classes are op once u hit level 40+ as long as you specialise perks etc. Making an all rounder by far offers the most difficult experience. I tried making one on master setting and had to rage quit after a few hours. Was horrible.

  • Most of the haters are just the opposite of Mage, Warrior

  • Overpowered if you exploit the novice hood thing...

  • Last night i pissed off two giants and default difficulty, ran into a castle thing, and killed them with simple sparks and flames......i was level 2 :D i know hiding in the castle is cheap though lol that was my first ever experience with skyrim and it was beyond fun

  • @AtomGonzo Using game mechanics is all fair. IF the designers didnt want you to do that, they would have programmed it not to allow you to. All's fair in love and Skyrim.

  • i think assassin's and there 30x sneak damage is more op than this simple exploit

  • Fucking sick

  • In Riften There is MAGE FOLLOWER for 500 gold and he is a mage and a Great one.

  • Where do you get that novice hood?

  • @joeMCRfan Helgen keep :) i don't know if there is somewhere else anywhere.

  • By far, the.most powerful person to make in skyrim is a Mage. I've made a Tank, Assassin, and I'm thinking of making a Mage. Probably a High elf. Don't know if anyone would know what perks to start or if I should even make one.

  • @Slininstien Just a tip of advice start a mage class with breton. High elf means that your really damn weak to magic and most mages are weak to physical attacks without using certain enchantments, just too start out use a breton and when you feel better about it then make a high elf

  • Your guys name is EPIC: "MR. Frosty McBoogerballs"

  • Using a dupe is not showing that something is op, it's showing you found a dupe. Still a cool video though, I hadn't seen this dupe before.

  • Mr. Frosty McBoogerballs

  • how does the mage work out at high levels?

so far i have a lvl 50 orc tank/berserker that only uses health potions when things gets really bad e.g. anc dragon + other enemies all at once...

other character lvl 50 kat, total steal thief/assasin, insane bow and 1 handed sneak dmg but gets owned instantly if detected! thinking of building a 2h tank berserker but focusing the build on the ebony blade (daedric artifact) doesnt need soul gem recharge and absorbs 30hp each hit at max lvl :)

  • @justvisiting1979 Mage honestly sucks at higher levels. Your damage is capped and most enemies have enough of a health pool to take a lot of shots from even the highest level spells. I can one shot with my 2 hander, and boost the damage to insane levels...but spells are constant damage. :( Good early on, but I would go with a physical type of attack later on.

  • @Beausafk that sucks, they really dumbed down magic, yes i like how being a warrior kicks ass and being a thief is more of a challenge but no custom spells?

    lame...

  • @justvisiting1979 Very, no mixing spells or experimenting etc to have them blow up in your face. It's a bit more dumbed down but I'd imagine that is because they developed it for multi-platform.

  • @Beausafk high level mages are really good but i use the oghma infinium glitch (really overpowered) to get max level and then get daedric armor and its in my opinion the best setup

  • @Beausafk actually no it doesnt when u have 100 conjuration which is really easy to get you can summon 2 deadra lords that are absolutley amazing plus in magic theres more than just destruction you can add fear and calm nd then throw more destruction spells at them you just gotta think it thru and mage is still good

  • @Beausafk that's not true, dps of melee, archery and destruction are all comparable at highest level, with destruction at 216 damage/second and stun lock with impact, can go higher with destruction potions

  • Buguse

  • still doesn't beat one shoting dragons with backstab.

  • it is a mechanic in the game that cannot be fixed without removing this type of enchantment all together, trust me, if they could fix it they would have, because Oblivion had the same problem, and it was made in 2006

  • I have killed a giant but the mamoths killed me after. Poisoned the arrow and just kept shooting from a far distance while he and his animals charged. All these videos on youtube all exploit glitches in the game.

  • LMAO I killed Giant at lvl 1 with fire only :P

  • LOL Mr. Frosty McBoogerballs

  • @Goonboo You're the first person to finally see that and get it. Damn I loved that episode of south park.

  • it works better if u unequip multiple items with mana bonus and then equip them all one after another, so 4 x 30 magicka bonus means 120 mana every time u use that trick, 0 magicka cost is better but u need some enchanting skill to do it

  • @RomanowRomanow1 Oh hell ya man, now that I know about hotkeys it would be a lot easier.

  • You sounded like Peter Griffin when you laughed :D

  • @strumming7times mehhehheehhaaahaha

  • how can i get that frost spell?

  • @TheGadgetboy2000 Go to one of the Jarls wizards and buy it from the court wizards. You need to have ample destruction before it will unlock so make sure you are close to being able to cast adept/expert. This frost spell in particular can be bought from the riverwood trader.

  • @Beausafk so i need to go to riverwood and i can buy it off the trader? sorry if it seems like i'm asking to much i just wanna know as much as I can because i'm getting skyrim for christmas :D (gonna be a dark elf)also one last thing what is better mage wise? dark elf or high elf?

  • @TheGadgetboy2000 No worries bro, I make these videos to help the masses and my fellow gamers. Yes, in the riverside trader (first town you will go to) he sells them in the book section of the traders inventory. Its called frost somethin, you'll see it. I would go high elf as you get 50 extra magicka and a racial magic regen ability.

  • @Beausafk i'd take breton for magic resistance it lowers dmg from all elements and dragon breaths, magicka is overrated if u can make 0 cost spells

  • @RomanowRomanow1 But to the point where you can make 0 cost spells you are better off with high elf, you can easily kill dragons on low level when you can regenerate your mana at insane speed for a short time. In oblivion (and morrowind I think too) I always used Bretons, because you had 50% magic resistance (now 25) and extra mana, whereas the high elves had higher mana, yes, but also weakness to fire, frost and shock. that means high elves 2.5 higher damage from magic. Now 1.3

  • @kotzebrecher high elf was my second thought, 50 to stats is unique, no other race gives u stat bonus. but 1/day skill is a no no for me, i am not gonna pass 24 hours after killing an enemy

  • I dont blame this guy, mages are so garbage in skyrim i understand if you have to exploit. I assraped the game @ master with pickpocket leveled up dual wield spec(swords ) and breton+lordstone alone

  • @Ukirozu Yeah I can't help but find that I never have enough god damned magicka for proper spells. In a one on one you're usually fine, but any type of long-term skirmish leaves the mage weak due to the painfully slow magicka regen (even with the likes of Morokei). They're sprinters, not long distance runners, and a lot of Skyrim, especially the boss fights, are essentially long distance running. When a warrior loses their stamina, at least they can still fight.

  • @Semi0Skimmed0Milk

I have a ring that regenerates 80% magicka, Archmages Robes from College of Winterhold (100% regeneration, 20% discount all spells, +50 magicka), +50 magicka amulet, +20 magicka gloves) and finally 50% shock resistant boots.

I have my destruction and alteration skills maxed out. Seriously, dual casting ice storm destroys everyone and everything except for the most powerful characters. When you meet those, throw everything you have at them and take magicka potions.

  • @jerrykobylt1 How'd you get the 80% magicka regen? Enchant it yourself? I've been getting my Enchanting up for that very purpose myself. I've been working on my Conjuration as opposed to Alteration though. I find there isn't much point in buffing yourself if you just redirect all the attacks to a third party. Also, I always loved the idea of Necromancy.

  • @Semi0Skimmed0Milk You always loved the idea of messing around with dead bodies? You're one sick SOB.lol.

  • @ZM7241994 Bitch, corpses turn me on. Meow.

  • @Semi0Skimmed0Milk It's not possible to be an exceptional warrior AND an exceptional magic user. If you try to do so, you level up too fast, never get good at anything, and by level 35, everyone everywhere gives you a headache, lol.

  • The giants don't recuperate stam at all, check:

    watch?v=dIIIzSmgxDs

  • `tgm lulz

  • Mages feel overpowered to me in this game. Enemy mages seem to have unlimited mana and their spells do so much damage. The only way you have a chance against them, if your a melee character, is to rush them and hope to take em down before they cast a spell. Even when I get up close they still can take multiple blows before falling.

  • @ZM7241994 I prefer to play as a pure mage. I do not have a single weapon, and before I got "Iron Flesh," there were many times where bandits with warhammers would kill me with a single hit or a single arrow.

At level 36, my character is very powerful yet some enemies are still challenging. I like to lure them into tight corridors, slow them with frost, conjure an atronach so they can't get at me, then blast them with fireballs as they fight my atronach. This game is way too much fun.

  • @jerrykobylt1 I haven't tried a pure mage yet so I can't say how effective it is but enemy mages feel over-powered. Their mana regenerates unusally fast and they have more health then they should. The only tactic I've come up with to counter mages if you're a warrior is to rush them, shield bash, and whack as fast as you can with your weapon. Most go down quick but some mages are just impossible. Fortunately, I have a mage companion who is great at killing pretty much anything.

  • Good job. :)

  • I Hate Mages.... with a passion.... Deep burning passsion. i mean like, it burns when i pee kind of burning passion. And at least in that situation you got to have some fun before the burning occurs. here VS a mage its just the pain no fun just pain...*in the grown*

  • I have the dragon priest mask that increases my mana recovery by 100%, that shit Is awesome.

  • you could just let them chase you to the tower nearby and stand just inside of it although some gurds might die

  • You took on a single enemy and had to use an exploit to do it. How is that OP?

  • is this fixed yet?

  • @Noobpatty The hell do you mean fixed? You're talking as if this is a glitch

  • @AR333 uh it's kind of an exploit, I wouldn't think you are supposed to get unlimited magicka for having clothing put on and off

  • @Noobpatty yeah but infinite casting of destruction spells in itself is not an exploit. If you enchant enough 4 pieces of apparel (necklace + ring + 2 armor pieces) you can cast spells LITERALLY for free. And this is without pausing to switch armor on / off. So what I am saying is, if you don't like that it's in the game, don't use it. If you want to do it but are worried if it's patched, there are WAY more efficient ways, and they aren't exploits or glitches.

  • @AR333 +1 for reason

  • lol default difficulty was on master for me, idk why

  • I'm not seeing magic being overpowered at default difficulty. Its basically on easy.

  • yo dude. sick trick. i have all my points on distruction, and archery, and restoration. thats for these tricks, if u have any more plz post. maybe teaching how to enchant weapons, or ways to make my archer stronger, and weather or not a mage/archer should use cloth gear or light armor. thanks man

  • @climbswag No worries, I'll do that :) After a while when you have enchanting up it doesnt really matter what armor you wear. Can put on whatever enchants you want, and boom.

  • omg use hotkey

  • It could be worse..... he could have shown how if he invests into enchant and raises it to 100, you can make an outfit reducing the cost of your (insert magic class type here) spells by 100%. So this as he had shown isn't nearly as bad as it gets.

  • Magic may seem strong at the beginning of the game - but when your archers base damage is over 1k, with 6k opening crits, while your mage is still topping off at 120 damage...you'll begin to wonder if it's really worth it.

Mages suck late game, are OP begining, and are balanced mid.

  • @Yoshimiko951 Are thieves any good?

  • @DeanWinchester133 Assassins{Dagger/Sword wielding stealth/illusion/One-hand} start off very powerful, then taper off into being pretty weak, then you get the amazing Dagger Crits, and become a god... that tapers off until you hit 95 stealth and become a god.

You'll have trouble vs dragons/bosses though until 95 stealth.

If you go the Archer/Thief route - you'll have some small trouble in close-combat, but once you pickup a decent bow you'll be fine.

    Conjuration archer/thief is awesome too.

  • @Yoshimiko951 Thanks dude, you've been really helpful.

  • @DeanWinchester133 Sure, Sorry for the confusing wording - was 90% asleep there.

All around as long as you pick 1 damage(1h/2h/destruction/archery) 1 enhance(conjuration/stealth/enchanting/smithing) and 1 survival(alteration/restoration(wards)/illusion/light&heavy armor) you'll be just fine. Everything except destruction can be made wildly powerful - and late game destro actually is pretty strong, just VERY slow and needs ramp up time to hurt things.

  • I doubt they'll fix it cuz it's a game mech. But then again they could make it so only your Max mana goes up....

  • You can kill giant at 4lvl without using this 30mana cheat.. With sprint

  • They'll fix this.

  • Cool graphics. Kill more stuff. Is there a 007 version? :-)
