you would've saved yourself alot of time by dropping the front bumper which is easy as a couple bolts. The headlights pull right out. Also I hope those aren't ebay headlights.
how much did you pay for your new headlights? Is better to take it to a mechanic to get them installed? My stock lights don't have a fog light, does that make a difference?
@1shotatu its not really the bulbs because i changed them so many times from stock to aftermarket and back to stock. it has to do something with the wiring or something else i think. Ive seen alot of jettas with this problem, one headlight is dimmer than the other..one headlight barely looks like it is on..
@jmemixx hummm! it could be...i have aftermarket headlights projectors and they are dim really bad, the bubls are H1/55w, so maybe jettas don't allow that much power...the light aims only about 10-15 feet from the headlights and they aim low(on the ground) can't seem to find a way to aim'em higher. if you know how please let me know, thx
@azketa4 Jimeny Cricket, modifying your headlights is no way shape or form rice, now if he put flames a wing on his head-lights with a fart can then yes, that would be rice.
just got these lights..but how do u center the bulbs,i was trying earlier but it was a lil slanted still, can ya help me out? oh n i can see it has a knob for upand down but is there one for right n left??
