I worked at one last summer. they don't allow cameras for a reason. this job isn't for someone with a weak stomach. USDA workers heavily monitors the meat, workers, and equipment. the killings were quick and painless, the meat was well handled and taken care of, and nothing went to waste. absolutely nothing. I'd go back for a summer job again.
@nxt2yoshi you are fucked up then, i worked for a cargill meat processing facility for a few weeks but they were torturing animals and everyone there is a fuckin heartless psycho. i saw so many cows suffer, i quit ASAP. got a lot of information on that factory
Notice...they did not show actual deaths of the cows for people to make their own mind up whether they believe it is torture or not. I already have my mind made up.
Lisa Ling you are usually good at responding to this type of injustice. You seemed to be okay with it. Or are you worried of being sued?

Dead Wrong. I prefer an execution sentence for all slaughterhouse workers by our JusticeSystem. Cargills and MacMillans were the inventors of the slaughter houses for food....Rot In Hell !!!! Go vegan. Refuse to support torture. Stand against animal cruelty in all types and do not listen to anyone who promotes this crap!
Once again it's Cargill that is poisoning the kids. Before it was cargill hamburger getting everyone sick now it's their ground turkey. I don't know how many times they can get away with this.

@NtoHealth even if the slaughter was somehow magically painless and terror-free, the rest of their existence is pitiful
