I agree Babs.. My daughter appeared with her in Turandot and we spent the after party together at a picnic.. She is delightful!! Nowhere near a DIVA.. She has been a Facebook friend ever since.. MY 13 year old now aspires to sing with her someday again

Finally a clip (if imperfect) of Othalie's magnificent instrument. There are few if any onstage today with her combination of vocal size, color, and dynamic shadings. She's beautiful to boot!! Dare we hope to see her in leading Opera houses soon?!? I've heard her Turandot. Its sensational - listen 2 it and tell me you don't hear Birgit..w/ tonal colors no less! This voice must be heard in-house to fully appreciate its amplitude and glory, & as an 'old-timer' , I urge all to try & hear it there!
