  • how many natural hotspring around pahrump, we just bought a place this winter there. ones that you don't need to walk very far, its getting harder for my mom she 70. thanks

  • What about water snakes and rattle snakes?

  • @stang455 No water snakes here but I suppose there could be some Rattlers around.

  • Please don't tell too many people, this is truly a secret of the most bautiful place on earth.

  • @mime4me Dont worry , I wont post directions : )

  • hot springs junky...

  • @barrykolsky You know it! :)

  • OK I went to Tecopa last weekend and I could not find the natural hot springs. Only the pay places. Can you tell me how to find this place?

  • As much time as I have spent out in Panamint and Death Valleys I can not believe I have not been there yet. Next time for sure...

    Thanks for the vid.

  • At about 1:20 --- is that steam coming up off of the water surface?

  • yes it is,it was cold and windy that day.

when the wind slowed it looked cool.

  • Hey, we were there for 2 month in 2005. We swam in this particular natural hot spring lake. It is my absolute favorite hot spring. You can choose your own temperature, I was at the same spot were you were in.

  • cool, two months?where did you stay?this is my winter favorite, for sure.I like how the mud on the bottom feels.

  • Hello David, Maybe we even have met you? Were you there in February and March 2005? We stayed in Tecopa at the RV park for a few days on and off, and then for about a month and a half in Shoshone at the RV park. You probably know Geneva, Jim, Skyler, Kimo, Heather and Bonny? Oh, I have been watching hot spring videos all night and it makes me feel so much calmer. I love geothermal water. It is healing, even to watch on a video. This one is the best. Oh, I love the mud at the bottom. :0)

  • hey Nicola, my first time there was in january 2007.I was only there for two days, I met three very nice travelers from florida.what place would you reccomend staying in tecopa?I think that place is healing too.

  • For David: I recommend staying in Shoshone, which is just 8 miles down the road towards Pahrump. The RV park is super, very reasonably priced and it has a larger swimming pool with geothermal water in it, but the water is only about 94 degrees. The water feels very great. So it's not far from there to go to the nature hot pool. I also love the bath house in Tecopah. But they are charging now even though the Indian chief declared to never charge for the baths.

  • ok Ill check out Shoshone then.I wanted to go to the bathouse in tecopa but I heard they charged, how much do they charge?who is the chief?I dont know much about the people in that area.

  • aaahhh....beautiful! I suffer from fybromyalgia, and this wild and scenic place with it's healing waters, is just the ticket!

  • After watching this I had a dream of the place! A very cool dream! And I know there are hot ponds in OHI cali...Im going to check them out soon.

  • sespe hot spring?

  • Have you been there?

  • I kept thinking something was going to jump out from behind the brush

  • maybe a snowbird!haha

  • I am so there! I can not wait to go!

  • Dont listen to the guy below...I think its a great location and I want to know more about it!

  • well, when i was there i met 3 nice people.pupfish swimming in the water.the mud on the bottom was cool in one spot, and hot in another.its located in an erie looking desert.

  • sorry i guess i need to work on that. yeah the bottom is muddy you sink up to your shins.

  • Whoaaa! Is this the jumpy-cam?

Very nice vid. When the camera settles down.
