  • No Marshals....No racing. Simple.

  • LOL zonta was probably mad because he was really bad compared to other drivers

  • f1tony2003 at one thats a little over excited and neally takes your head off you little wussy prick and every 1 who thumbed up

  • amazing !

  • lol

  • f1 tony2003, shut the fook up ya deek sniffer.

  • ...well he had a helmet on ;-)

  • It WAS his middle finger

  • LOL

  • The guy has got a top notch helmet on his head. Probably didn't even feel it. Kinda childish if you ask me.

  • @Tommovdv at first, how ever my helmet is, if someone comes to me so close with that thing, ill punch his brain out of his ugly fat bitchface.

  • And so?

  • One of my few rules in life is wait till I get out from below the load before giving crane, hiab or forklift driver the finger, particularly one that I suspect to be inept. But then again, I'm nowhere as ballsy as the average F1 driver.

And anyone who doubts the reflexes and reaction times of F1 driver's need to look no further than any of these middle finger videos.

  • it was not the middle finger

  • @strike1985tomi I don't know what the fuck kind of hand you have, but that was the middle finger. Please study human anatomy more

  • @strike1985tomi your right he gave him a thumbs up... fucking retard

  • @Insanaty lol dude xD

  • @strike1985tomi How does a middle finger look for u?

  • hahaha zonta fingered the marshall

  • keep pressing 3

  • When you see the cost of a helmet like that, you can understand the gesture :)

  • he deserved it!i mean the marshall

  • jajajajajajajaja the finger

  • forklift into place and a few other things going on to help the driver. anyone can marshall, marshalling the right way so that no smart arses comment on a youtube video is easier said than done.

  • even though british and maybe american marshalls are a million times better than any others i can still relate to the less experienced ones (currently for the sinapore f1 race even when its a night race you can be a total beginner and attend, whereas over here it takes a lot of competence and a pretty few national meetings before youre considered). all ill say is give them a break we do it for free, if they were good the driver would have been loosely escorted and a helper would have bought the

  • "He was wearing a helmet"

  • snapp

  • That was close..:D

  • almost hit him? looks like he did hit him

  • ahahahahaah zonta #1!

  • I'm going for first says Ricardo Zonta. lol

  • Brasileiros...

  • "mister marshall: you are number 1", Zonta says!!!!

  • ahahahah

  • hahahaha

  • hhh...

  • Esse Zonta é realmente um otário

  • it's in 2000,in 1999 the car was ohter colour,and in 2001he wasn't in BAR

  • it's austria 2000.

there is the sponsor Warsteiner in

    0:09.

    sponsor warsteiner never in brazil

  • Me to :D

  • i had to watch the video 2 times to realize...

  • why he show the finger?

  • the guy operating the crane nearly hit him with it

  • coz youre stupid

  • where?what is the gp?

  • 71 laps, perhaps it was Brazil, and it should be in 2000

  • good eye. yeah, i'd agree there

  • Looks like Austria (who also had 71 laps) in 2000 that's for sure.

  • theres lot videos where marshalls do get a bad time, the worse one on here is when james hunt punches one for getting him away from the racing track. id go mental if i was there trying to be helpful and somebody on that kind of money did that with me. Wheres my lawyer!

  • But in here they put Zonta's life on the line almost hitting his head with the crane, that might piss a driver off, wouldn't you say?

  • in life people make mistakes i understand his frustration at almost being hit and maybe im being to harsh to Zonta and he is an "ok" driver but i always feel in racing people and drivers don;t give respect to the marhsalls when many more marhsalls than drivers are killed during motorsport events. sorry to any Zonta fans for my earlier rant.

  • yeah but this was clearly an accident, and giving a marshall the finger is just not good sportsmanship no matter what the situation.

  • He shouldn't have been in the way of the marshall. You don't see marshalls getting in the way of the drivers when they are doing their jobs do you? He was just being a pissy-pants because he crashed.

  • It's all very good. I wonder what the people who are defending the poor marshall for such "agression" if Zonta had been killed or seriously injured. And sadly, we've recently seen how dangerous it is being hit on the helmet.

  • yes true. good stuff you say. Hamilton is good successful driver. He's my favorite since gp2 days :D

  • lol

  • well I guess thats why he won the FIA GT Championship in 1998?

  • Did you happen to see his driving in the pouring rain at New Jersey this weekend in the Grand Am race?

  • i was at that event

  • His driving was incredible.

  • bring a copy of this file to grave with me

  • I met him in a bar in Curitiba, his home town, got a photo and all, nice chap. Whats he at now?

  • Zonta rocks

  • He's very professional about that (NOT).

If I was the marshall I would leave the vehicle, go home and do something else instead of helping arrogant assholes driving in circles.

Maybe I would have parked the thing on the F1 car.

  • @liobeking circles? you must be a NASCAR fan.

  • marshal probably deserved it

  • What marshal deserves to get the finger when they are out their trying to maintain safety and preserve life? I don't get it. That's the typical attitude of a common driver worshiper I guess. The marshal gets disrespected so he obviously deserved it. Is that fair? Let's see these drivers trapped in the fucking car and have a marshal flip them the finger. How about that?

  • You're honestly missing the point, and you should know better judging by your username. This has nothing to do with rules and regulations. It's about respecting the people who risk their lives in order to keep drivers safe. You or I can say what we want about them, but there is nothing "cool" about a driver disrespecting a man who for all intents and purposes, could be the very man to save that driver's life. I apologize if my tone was harsh. I just don't see where what Zonta did was so great.

  • never said it was cool i stand by it. the marshall probably deserved it. as i say half the rules have grey areas Senna lost a champ to these grey areas. i fully believe in the rules that keep drivers safe its just some of them are rediculous. lol and i probably came a bit harsh when i said they pretty much have stood there and give the finger. i cant remember who was in that over turned car on fire and a driver is trying to get him out and the marshals do nothing but pull him away. very sad.

  • @f1tony2003 Chill...

  • @f1tony2003 lol you are telling me you wouldn't be pissed off if someone drove a forklift truck into your face!? Give him a break, he's just retired from the race and some numpty Marshal drives a 5 tonne forklift into his head!

  • @f1tony2003 well tell me where the marshalls were when roger williamson was trapped and burning and why David purley had to give up his own race to save his friend beacause the marshalls didn't have a fucking clue

  • @f1tony2003 Some marshalls fuck things up most of the time, just check out material from one donkey of 2011 Canadian GP. They seem to have absolutely 0 professional handing in hardly any F1 event, while these drivers have worked their ways on top.

This dude almost hit Zonta in the head, you give a finger for a move like that anywhere. "Preserving life", bullshit, they are mainly F1 fans and adrenaline junkies for hanging out there.

  • Brasilian drivers, they always say what they think. I like that;)

  • yeah but not when it is personally offensive. It does the sport no favours if drivers are behaving unprofessionally. That's why I liked old F1 lots more gentlemanly conduct and sportsmanship...like Stewart for example.

  • GooD!!!

  • HEADSHOT lol :D

  • lol

  • xDxDxD

  • haha lol, must be an idiot driving that ''tractor'' or what you call it in english :D

  • we (hungarien) call it tractor, too :D:D

  • we too!

    (or a trekker :P)

  • He's wearing a fuckin' helmet!

  • Yeah, an expensive helmet! lol

That's a pretty funny clip though.

  • right and that will protect his head against tractors fork? I dont think so.

  • A formula 1 graded helmet? I think it will :)

  • formula one helmets can withstand being ran over by a tank, michael schumcher helped develope them in 2004 and yes they can be ran over by a tank, that's been proven. so god forbit if i'm tapped by a crane. hilarious!

  • they are now bullet proof aswell

  • lol, really???

  • yep including the viser

  • You can understand why Zonta did that.

  • matches your username ^ :D

  • @F1Ram I can. What I can't under stand is why he walked away, rather than smacking the guy upside his damn head.
