No, Populations are increasing rapidly. Greenland and Antarctica ice is melting? Nope, net ice mass is increasing; so are ice flows. Hurricanes increasing? No, they are at an all-time low. And so on it goes.

More than 600 people in Eastern Europe have died during a record-breaking cold snap that has brought the heaviest blizzards in recent memory and trapped thousands behind walls of snow, officials said Wednesday.
Have there been other times in history, when temperatures have changed like this?
There is a mountain of evidence for this; I count at least nine just in this inter-glacial, spaced at approx 1,000yr intervals. Closer to our time, 1680-1735 saw a rise of 2c in just 55 years. (we have had 0.7c in 150 years). More recently again, there was an increase in world temperatures of 1.0c in one year (1997) and 0.8c in just 2 years (2008-2010 - this is before smoothing the data)
That polar bear looked like he was just doing normal polar bear type shit. Swimming, jumping, going onto land in the summer to fatten up.....Whats your point?

It might have been a myth before--A government scam to get money....But it might be starting up. With all the pollution eating away at the Ozone layer,it's heating up and now it's melting. Summer or not,Antarctica might end up just a sea. MIGHT!
@Deidaragirl9 and what pollution eats at the ozone layer eh? not co2 , CFCs( symphetic made compond/propelant ) would but they are banned and largely gone from industries! ice sheets insidently are growing now in parts! and when we see ice droping from ice sheet is just normal , and part of the life of sheets as they move and shift around
Excuse me - the fact that these pictures were taken in broad daylight means that it was summer there and ice relatively close to the sea is supposed to melt during summer.

You need a more balanced view. Even if there were no sea ice, seals would have to come to land to give birth and rest. The bears would do quite well on land.
