Yeah, A LOT of the people who have thrown 4th st fair and who live on this block (or used to live there) are not in this video....what's up with that?
Sorry Guys, I basically walked around the fair with my camera that day interviewing random people...when it became too dark outside I thought I had gotten enough footage...I only met one of the organizers before but could not find her, ...I wanted to combine it with the past 4th street fairs I taped, hope everyone likes it...long live 4th Street!
The city officials were lied on by a handful of haters who were trying to scare people away from the fair with lies because they could not control the whole event. That is why another block club was formed in order to raise it's own funds and continue the fair without the constant interuptions of the haters who wanted to ruin it since they could not get rid of the diversity in the talent chosen to perform. Racism and fear will never conquer Art and music's diversity, not on Fourth Street!

I'm glad you made this. I used to live on 4th St. and loved the fair, it was an adults Christmas. It's odd that I only saw one person I know (Courtney, at the beginning) Where's Tim?

Living on 4th strett was a fantastic time.
I miss living there. Seattle is cool and all but it doesn't compare with 4th st!!

This is one of the best festivals in detroit. Hopefully next year it will be back to what it was.
