Ed, great vids you have got up. I am learning a lot from them. What airbrush do you use for very fine detail work? What do recommend as far as reducing for extreme detail?
Oh, that is a kick ass site, has every thing. Though I think I am going to try out the Iwata Revolution HP-SAR. Very good selection of paints too and the candy's. Ok, now I am excited Ed, Thanks Bro
I so want to paint my 68 GMC truck but, have to learn to air brush. What is a good beginner brush to start out with? Great job on the pins, looks so simple but wicked cool...
Couldnt you use that stuff we used to call gorilla snot or that stuff excuse the name booger like stuff they use on like when you get a credit card in the mail .That would hold a golf ball but not a bowling pin
When you're painting an object like this which is 360 degrees, how do you place/hold the object so you can cover all areas equally? I recently custom painted a golf ball and had to put a small spike in it to hold it, which left a rough spot afterwards, and i had issues with running with the shape
@edhubbs and i like that you comment back to alot of people shows you enjoy your subs/fans/friends.. just like i try to do, have you seen what i do? i took auto paint and body in school and applied it to xbox 360 controllers, and trying to learn airbrushing with my pasche gun.. i would love to be able to do something RIDICULOUS like this onto one of my controllers.. check out some of my work on my channel and if you got any suggestions man i'm all ears! thanks for reading this ed --- Jerry

@Stanty16 As you can see in the video I just kept rotating it and painting. The HOK paint dry's fast.
edhubbs 7 months ago
@edhubbs I mean more when doing the full coats/base over the entire piece rather than the custom work
Stanty16 7 months ago
@Stanty16 Oh,I am not really sure how I would go about that one man.Sounds like how you did it would really be the only way to do it.
