I've not finished yet...I really think that the Persian civilization(despite of my name i'm a persian fan)was one of the greatest of the ancient world...their culture,their architectur,their streets,THEIR ARMIES were great.They lost to greeks only at cause of poor command abilities of bad emperors like Xerses.The point of strenght of persian army was not the melee infantry(very bad),but in archers,horse archers and heavy cavalry.if they really did a large use of it greeks would not have escape.
