I was about 80 miles north of you in Gouda.Yes i do remember that day very well; it was exceptionally warm in Holland too.We were just getting an Indonesian meal for 2 when you shot this.There was too much for us in the end.You should have popped up and helped us out ! Ah; the Sunday was Wilmas 48th birthday ao we were out on the balcony with the rest of the Verlooij clan drinking Amstel.
Pop Verlooij ( wilmas dad) is 78 and has a few tales to tell about the German occupation.Perhaps you could interview him one day!
