I respect King of Thailand. But when I saw in a movie a poor Thai farmer kiss the toes and soles of the King to show respect, I completely lost my belief. In a modern world, this kind of human treatment should not exist. Gorge Bush, the most powerful leader on earth, never approves somebody kiss his toes or other part of his body in the public, why some other leader does? Is that a culture? But a human should be treated decently. I wonder if the movie was shot recently or a century ago.

This is probably my favourite national anthem of any country. And yes, it is awesome to see a nation stand up at 08.00 and 18.00 when it plays.
