This is just amazing... Although, yea the nearest Mass Relay should be near Pluto. That means you'll need to travel until the end of the Solar System before going through it.

@EnterprisezJ Ohh, sorry.. It wasn't a spoiler since the mass relay thing was explained in the start of Mass Effect 1. So I don't think it's hardly a spoiler anymore. And yea, they're making Mass Effect 3. There's no spoiler so far, other than the usual info, you know promotion stuff. Well, good luck with finishing it. Make sure you keep your save file for ME3. Hahahaha. ohh, one more tip, don't play the Arrival DLC yet until you finish the main game. Good luck.

@esv80 That's just white boxes, which I rendered separately and then applyed an "optical flares" plug-in to this layer.

Wow....I...am speechless on how Epic and awesome this clip is. My mind was completely blown away. I am in the 3d modeling myself and this was a completely astounding master piece that will influence and memorize many other 3d modelers and special effects enthusiasts from some time to come. With all the Star-Wars fan films out there...there needs to be a (good) Mass-Effect one put out there to truly represent. @HitodamaKyrie It can't. The Mass effect field generators is not big enough to do so without seriously damaging the hull. The SR-1 could, but the SR-2 is almost twice the size in all dimensions, so its probably, like, 8 times the weight. But otherwise this video is amazing. You should do something with the Normandy flying through a city or something

At last! someone who uses a model but gets the animation and compositing right! It looks great.. Maybe not the ships which aren't mass effect. They were unnecesary and it loses quite a bit of quality on the one that flies by the camera. And the Relay looks great as well. I wish we had one of those. No reapers though.

Very cool. The Mass Relay could use a bit of work and personally, I think the inclusion of other sci-fi ships detracts from the Normandy a bit, but considering how great the Normandy looks in those scenes on Earth, it hardly matters.
